Todo lo relacionado con el alquiler estuvo muy bien, lo que no comparto es el procedimiento que siguen para el cobro de una multa de transito, que me resulta imposible pagar desde Argentina a traves de los medios ofrecidos por la DGT. Seria mas sencillo que Uds. habiendo tomado conocimiento de la multa, consultaran si estoy de acuerdo y acepto la multa, la pagaran Uds. que residen en el lugar y enviaran el cargo a traves de la tarjeta indicada. Es una gran complicacion.
Everything related to the rental was very good, what I do not agree with is the procedure they follow for collecting a traffic fine, which is impossible for me to pay from Argentina through the means offered by the DGT. It would be simpler for you, having become aware of the fine, to ask if I agree and accept the fine, for you who reside in the place to pay it and send the charge through the indicated card. It is a great complication.
Terrible experience at the Avis Vigo Car Rental. Rented the car with no problems, (Red Flag) they do not do a physical inspection with you. I did take pictures of the car and found some damages that were not in the contract. Tried calling them multiple times and the numbers they provide do not work. Once returned they were close and just dropped off the key in box. A day later they sent me the closing contract and they added damages that were there before the rental. Basically they mention a scratch in the Rim and added $230 Euros. First time in 20 years that I get added extra charges from a car rental. Went to the counter to talk with the Avis agent, explained and showed the pictures but she says she cannot help me and that I need to email [email protected] even though she agrees that the damages were there and I should be refunded. She also gave me a phone number for customer support which I called and they also mentioned they cannot help me, that I need to email them and that specific department does not have a phone number. I emailed them multiple times, they replied back asking proof and screenshots from my phone so it shows the date which I provide and now 2 weeks later and they don't reply back. I've sent multiple emails and no reply back from them. Not sure what else to do. They are scamming people adding double the charges of what you expect to pay and then they completely disappear and do not reply back. RENTERS BEWARE, DO NOT RENT FROM THIS PLACE!!!! Pesima experiencia en Avis Vigo Car Rental. Alquile el auto sin problemas, no te hacen inspeccion fisica. Tome fotografias del auto y encontre algunas danos que no estaban en el contrato. Intente llamarlos varias veces y los numeros que me dan no funcionan. Una vez devuelto, estaban cerrado y deje la llave en la caja. Un dia despues me enviaron el contrato de cierre y agregaron danos que habia antes del alquiler. Basicamente mencionan un rasguno en las llantas y agregaron 230 euros. Primera vez en 20 anhos que me cobran extra de un alquiler de carro. Fui al mostrador para hablar con el agente de Avis, le explique y le mostre las fotos, pero ella dice que no puede ayudarme y que necesito enviar un correo electronico a [email protected] a pesar de que esta de acuerdo en que los danos estaban ahi y que deberian reembolsarme. Tambien me dio un numero de telefono de atencion al cliente al que llame y tambien mencionaron que no pueden ayudarme, que necesito enviarles un correo electronico y que ese departamento especifico no tiene un numero de telefono. Les envie un correo electronico varias veces, me respondieron pidiendo pruebas y capturas de pantalla de mi telefono para que muestre la fecha que proporcione y ahora, 2 semanas despues, no responden. Envie varios correos electronicos y no recibi respuesta de ellos. No estoy seguro de que mas hacer. Estan estafando a las personas agregando el doble de los cargos de lo que esperas pagar y luego desaparecen por completo y no responden. !!!TEN CUIDADO, NO ALQUILES DESDE ESTE LUGAR!!!

Esta manana he ido a alquiler un coche por primera vez en este establecimiento y he tenido la gran suerte de ser atendido por Carlos. Gracias a este gran profesional por explicarme todo con absoluta paciencia y amabilidad, sin duda un profesional de bandera y al que volvere.
This morning I went to rent a car for the first time at this establishment and I was very lucky to be assisted by Carlos. Thanks to this great professional for explaining everything to me with absolute patience and kindness, without a doubt a top professional and one to whom I will return.
Just finished my rental at Vigo airport. When getting the car there was no line at the counter, folks were very friendly, and did not insist in add-ons. Return was straightforward and there were no unexpected charges.
NO puedes inducir al cliente SOBRE LA MARCHA, EN MOSTRADOR, que va tener un sobrecoste del alquiler que practicamente te duplica la tarifa final; senores de AVIS, los viajeros contamos con una bolsa de gastos para nuestras vacaciones, programadas con meses de antelacion. Prefiero que me digas mucho antes que el alquiler me va a suponer unos 780EUR en julio (no los 370EUR presupuestados en mayo) y no tras bajarme de un avion para empezar mi "descanso". Parece que si no aseguras por culpa de un tercero (que simplemente te raye el coche en un parking publico) te endeudas porque la responsabilidad es tuya (mundo de locos); te pueden clavar mas de 3300EUR de franquicia si no "pasas por el aro" sobre la marcha. Bueno, gracias por todo, leccion aprendida.
You CANNOT induce the client ON THE GO, AT THE COUNTER, who will have an extra rental cost that practically doubles the final rate; Gentlemen of AVIS, we travelers have a bag of expenses for our vacations, scheduled months in advance. I prefer that you tell me much in advance that the rent will cost me around EUR780 in July (not the EUR370 budgeted in May) and not after getting off a plane to start my "rest". It seems that if you don't insure because of a third party (who simply scratches your car in a public parking lot) you go into debt because the responsibility is yours (crazy world); They can charge you more than EUR3,300 in excess if you don't "jump through the hoops" along the way. Well, thanks for everything, lesson learned.
Vehicle was rented to me in very poor condition and bold tires! Halfway through my trip having the concern of getting a violation ticket and/or a tire blowing out, I decided to call customer service about the tires and the back door panel that kept falling off on the inside. Since I did not get any help from anybody throughout my vacation I was just lucky to make it back after driving around for three weeks with bold tires!!!
The customer service is horrible, you arrive at the counter and there is no one there for almost half an hour, then they give you a completely damaged car and they say that it is a small cosmetic detail, I call by phone to file a complaint and an employee named Silvia has a Very bad attitude with the client, she tells me that if the car runs, that's what I pay for. At the end of the contract they charge you more than when you made the initial contract. Extremely nasty and bad experience this last one with your Avis - Budget services and I definitely do not recommend them to anyone. This is at the Vigo airport.
