Weeks after my trip I they took a payment for excess without any correspondence to me. They said the front and rear bumper were damaged. I did not damage anything. No photo evidence was supplied. Will never use again.
I made a last minute car rental reservation at the airport and the lady, (Ana?), provided the options available and eventually a decent price for a ford focus. The car i picked up did have some scratches which i photographed during the inspection, (which was fortunate, as one wasnt registered on the report). At the end of the rental sixt contacted me regarding one of the scratches. The process of uploading my pictures was easy and no charges were applied. The process was easy and efficient. However im not entirely sure what would have happened if i didnt have photographic evidence. So take photos during any car rental pickup.

I'm leaving a comment because I haven't been able to contact anyone for two days regarding a car breakdown. I booked a car from Poland with the option to pay everything upfront (around EUR900). At the airport, I was offered other models, but ultimately, I wanted to stick with the originally selected one. However, additional charges were added, such as EUR163 for "premium location" and EUR354 for insurance, raising the rental cost from EUR936 to EUR1,433. Maybe I misunderstood something, although I have rented cars in many places around the world without such "adventures." I picked up the car at Palma airport and headed to the hotel, and the low tire pressure warning light came on. It was late, so I decided to take my wife and child to the hotel and inflate the tire. We fell asleep right after reaching the hotel. In the morning, the tire was completely flat. I spent the entire day trying to report this issue on the number provided in the contract. I only managed to reach Spanish consultants who transferred me to the English line, but no one picked up the phone there. After a whole day of unsuccessful attempts and lack of mobility, I asked the hotel staff to contact Sixt in Spanish. Apparently, it was arranged that the car would be replaced. The next morning, we have no car. We also have no information. We chose a hotel in the mountains with no store nearby, planning to travel around. I was convinced that choosing Sixt would guarantee efficient service. Currently, it is the second day of our vacation, and there have been a total of 0 (zero) responses to dozens of phone calls and two reports sent via the app. I never write comments on Google, but when I see my child crying, and no one addresses the issue, I feel frustrated. I have never encountered such an absolute lack of communication.
Rented a car from Sixt in Mallorca and had an outstanding experience. Mrs. Ana, the store manager, was fantastic--professional, efficient, and attentive. She had everything ready on time and exceeded my expectations. Highly recommend Sixt Mallorca for top-notch service!
They offered another car for the same price, in the end it was the car twice cheaper with additional insurance, but ok I get that and I agreed to this, cannot call it scam which it essentially is. However when I returned the car with full tank they charged me additional 56 euro with no reason.
Poor customer service, giving false information to the customers. we had to end up paying for a deposit which the staff said it was refundable but we didn't get a refund. Charged us for refuelling which we didn't agree too and it wasn't previously mentioned to us on the website or at the desk on the spot.
Untrustworthy rental! Beware! Bloody thieves! We rented a VW Caddy about two weeks ago while in Palma. After careful usage, car was returned without scratch and refueled as it was given. Only for us to be slammed with a bill of 450 Euro for special cleaning? We find this unjustified, and a bogus claim as car was not returned dirty to be liable for such a fee. That's thievery! Because according to your terms and conditions, one is liable for a special cleaning fee as such in the case where tons of cleaning is required. We didn't go to a farm nor used the vehicle as a farm implement or turned it in and out to a mobile abattoir, how dare you happily fleeced people unjustly? You should be ashamed of yourselves!
