We rented a car from Gobycar for 9 days, and the entire experience was excellent. The staff was very friendly and professional, making us feel welcome from the start. The rental conditions were fair and transparent, with no unpleasant surprises. The process was impressively quick and efficient, from picking up the car to returning it at the end of our trip. A plus was the punctual shuttle service between the airport and the rental office, which made the entire process seamless and stress-free. We have just returned from a trip to Mallorca and can honestly say this was the best car hire experience we have ever had. The operation was slick from start to finish. Shuttle buses were plentiful and waiting at the terminal, there were plenty of staff which meant we didn't wait long at all for our car, the car was clean and new and exactly what we had paid for. There was absolutely no attempt to sell us insurance and we were on the road in record time. The return was equally smooth and seamless. We cancelled a car hire booking with OK MOBILITY because of awful reviews and are so glad we did. Well done GO BY CAR. if only all car hire experiences were as good as this.!!

Very smooth and uncomplicated experience. Everything was very well organised and the car in great shape. No one tried to talk us into extra insurances. Also nice and helpful staff. The airport shuttle is also very practical. Would definitely rent a car here again.

Excellent customer service, easy to book and arrange (we managed to book a car the night before we picked it up, which was impossible with any other company- we tried everywhere). The car was in great condition, and there was a free airport shuttle service back. PLUS, unlike other companies, only a small deposit fee was required. Overall great experience, very seamless transaction. Would book again.

DON'T BOOK HERE! Untrustworthy company! Be careful! They are looking to charge you with unjustified costs!! We arrived late at night because of a late flight and they gave us a big upgrade that we didn't ask for but ok we agreed. Should've known better than to accept quite a new car. Very weird: they did not check the car together with us and we didn't receive a document stating the damages that were already present like you would normally expect. On top of that the parking was pitch-dark and since we had a gut feeling we did take some pictures ourselves of the damage that was already there with the help of the flashlight of our gsm but obviously the quality of the pictures taken in the dark isn't great. When we came to drop of the car it was immediately clear the guy was really "looking aka searching" to find something. He told us there was a big scratch on the side of the car that after our initial shock we just wiped off (!!) with our hands - he was already calculating the damage by cm - while it was sand!. A small line was left (no scratch no depth), that you almost can't see in broad daylight (so how to see it at night!) that now they wanted to charge us for. On top of that the other people that came to drop their car off didn't get inspected the same way at all! So besides the guy being very rude....it feels like it was a kind of setup from the beginning. We never had such a bad experience with a car rental agency and we've been in many places before. Thank god our own insurance company got us covered. STAY AWAY from them!

Booking online seemed straightforward and the pick up from Palma airport was also nice and easy. Mini vans pick up from the arrivals part of the airport every 15 mins to take you to the off-site rental pound. This is where an hour long wait to even get to the booking desk after collecting a queuing service ticket. The office is air-conditioned and there are toilet and vending machine facilties. The form filling from a pre-booked car is also quite long winded, and unnecessarily time consuming (adding to the queuing issue). The staff are very pleasant and helpful with a good English vocabulary. I purchased excess insurance before i travelled, this cost me around PS15. Gobycar take a EUR900 deposit before your rental starts. I will see what the return process is like to increase or decrease the rating.

The whole experience was good. Shuttle pickup details are a bit unclear, but managed quickly(outside departures). The processing time was quick - 4 agents to do the paperwork available. We got the car that we booked. We've been asked if we would like an upgrade to a more luxurious model and if we would like to take their insurance (around 60euros) - they didn't tried aggressively to sell them or anything. The car was in good condition, inside cleanliness 8.5/10, technical 10/10, exterior 8/10 couple of marks and dents. When we returned , they inspected the car very quick, and our deposit was released instantly - dropped to the airport in 5 minutes.

Highly efficient car rental service! The shuttle service was quick and convenient, and both check-in and check-out processes were impressively swift. The car was clean and well-maintained. I do recommend giving the car a thorough check upon reception to ensure all is in order and recorded properly. Definitely recommend this company for hassle-free car rental.
