The take over of the car was super friendly and quick. The car was really nice and clean, nothing to complain! However for return, we used the keybox as it was too early (5am in the morning) for an Dollar employee to be there. After our return to Germany, a small damage (scratch) was found which we are not sure if a) this was really our car and b) has been created by us. The amount was directly booked from the credit card, so it's just annoying trying to sort things out now afterwards...

Booked economy car . At the point of collection was almost forced to get upgraded car. Didn't need it . When arrived to the car straight away noticed car is not full of fuel. Had more than 3/4 . Took some pictures . Returned car with same amount and was charged for fuel and dollar fee. I have posted pictures and they say they don't care basically. Fraudulent company . Avoid at all costs.

Great customer service, there is a free transfer from/to Airport. It took around 15 minutes to rent a car. When renting a car, we get a list of damages with which we pick up the car. However, it is worth seeing the car and taking additional photos. Deposit is a little high so i recommend to get additional insurance and no stress. They upgraded our car for free for best one. That was first time for me to rent a car. Very nice experience!

Had a great experience. Shuttle wasn't too difficult to find. Just go up the elevator to 2nd floor and once you go outside the terminal building, cross to the other section of the road and head to the right (around bay 11). Were plenty of shuttle buses that came. Very busy but they processed people quickly. Got a upgrade to a very new hybrid. Drop off was also very easy.

Got a really bad car - Hyundai i20, where the windshield washer motor didnt work!! It also showed a service call for over 1800 km. Unfortunately, its been the case lately that people are being scammed again and again when renting a car in Spain. Its completely different here. We were taken to the car rental office and a charming employee immediately took care of us. We had ordered a Clio and the lady offered us a diesel SUV for 5 euros more a day. Since we knew that we would be driving a lot, we accepted the offer. The car was clean and had 14,000 km on the clock. We loaded our suitcases and wanted to leave, but the speedometer said the vehicle needed to be serviced. I went back in and let you know. Ive never experienced what happened afterwards. Two ladies immediately looked after us, organized another car (our car was already at the front when we picked it up, the other was still in the parking lot), we did a lap and they picked up the few scratches. They even wanted to get an employee to reload our suitcases, but we refused. So service is still very important here. When giving the same picture. No waiting time, the lady saw us coming and came to the car and everything went absolutely smoothly. We couldnt even have a smoke and the driver was there to take us to the airport. My conclusion: just perfect, Ill definitely be there again next time.

Sie wollten sogar einen Mitarbeiter holen der unsere Koffer umladt was wir aber abgelehnt haben . Also hier wird Service noch gross geschrieben . Beim abgeben das gleiche Bild. Keine Wartezeit, die Dame hat uns schon kommen gesehen und ist zum Auto gekommen alles lief absolut reibungslos . Wir konnten nicht mal eine rauchen und der Fahrer war da um uns zum Flughafen zu bringen. Mein Fazit: einfach nur perfekt da bin ich mit Sicherheit das nachste mal wieder .

We rented a car in a pack from this company through lastminute. I dont know who is ultimately responsible because it is never anyones fault, so my review will be the same for both companies... We arrived at the destination airport and they did not allow us to pay the vehicle deposit with my debit card, they only accept credit. My fault? Maybe, but why did they let me pay the rent in advance at the time of booking? Why do I have to have a credit card that I have never needed? Well, we had to add my partner as a second driver to be able to take the car, paying the extra cost. The rental was more expensive than if we had taken a higher-end car with comprehensive insurance. (Double). It seems very bad to me, charge me the deposit with my debit card and when I return the car you give me the refund, or make me an adjustment in the price, I dont know. No full insurance possible with debit card or cash. I think they lied because other reviews says it is possible. The cashier simply did not want to help. Make sure that your creditcard works otherwise you will have no other paying option and not get your pre-paid car rent back. Even a credit card that is not on the drivers name is not allowed. If the one you rented the car with does not work, you will lose all your money and the cashier will laugh at you. Loss of 4 hours of my vacation at this desk including transfer and 304,11. I eventually got my pre-paid money back from broker CarTrawler after sending in a formal complaint to the CEO. I recommend RecordGo, nice company, I had a nice rental and good vacation. Cost a bit more but you at least get service.

The counter directly in the terminal is operated by Hertz/Thrifty around the clock. As a result, you can also get cars from Hertz. Fur alle deutschen Touristen (weil ich die Beschwerde ofter in den Rezessionen lese): Im Ausland, egal ob innerhalb oder ausserhalb der EU, ist eine Kreditkarte mit Kreditrahmen notwendig um ein Auto zu leihen. Giro- oder Debit-Kreditkarten werden nicht akzeptiert. Klart das also vorher mit eurer Bank um Zeit und Nerven im Urlaub zu sparen ;)

Al llegar a recoger el coche en la empresa Dollar, la cual que no se encuentra en el aeropuerto sino a las afueras a 25 minutos, me intentaron cobrar otro seguro ademas de un cargo por el servicio de carga y el combustible. El anuncio indicaba que el coche se entregaba con el tanque lleno, pero me querian obligar a cargar en su estacion de servicio y con su bomba, lo cual suponia un coste adicional por el servicio de carga de 50 euros + 70 euros por el combustible ( algo ilogico). Ademas, querian exigir un deposito de 750 euros con tarjeta de credito, pero el limite normal de la tarjetas es de 650 euros o del caso contrario contratar un tercer seguro de 110 , me trataron de forma muy desagradable y decidi cancelar el alquiler. Tras casi dos meses de quejas y correos, logre recuperar el dinero completo gracias a haber alquilado a traves de Booking. Es muy importante informarse bien de las condiciones y detalles del alquiler y de la empresa con la que lo hacemos para evitar sorpresas desagradables. Si tienes dudas sobre el contrato o las condiciones, no dudes en preguntar y asegurate de que todo quede claro antes de firmar. En caso de problemas, guarda toda la documentacion relacionada, correos, fotos y alquilen con Sixt para evitarse problemas de companias scan. If one day I go back, I will certainly use the same one again and I recommend it :) ps: and I didnt know that I was a young innocent but dollar = Hertz, so theres even a big agency behind it which is well established which is more reassuring to avoid scams. ps2: I see a lot of people talking about shuttles etc., I didnt even know there was one, because, for my part (and as another review says below) I went directly through the counter of the airport which is managed by hertz/thirfty/dollar) so my very positive opinion is based on this service and not the one in which there would be a shuttle for I dont really know where
