I recommend. A small rental company, fast and simple procedure. All you needed was a driving license. The owner also asked for the name of the hotel and the room number where we were staying. Returning the vehicle is also very simple. The boss just asked if everything was OK and if I had filled up the fuel.

The Price You See Is the Price You Pay. No Gimmicks, No Up Selling and No Pressure Tactics. Apparently they have been renting cars for 55 years. This place is a gem and easy going approach. They take 50 euros deposit for gas. Upon return of the vehicle they did not even check the petrol levels. The gent asked if all is good with the car and if I have returned it full. Then gave me back my cash deposit for fuel. Highly recommend this business as they are a local business and with NO BS APPROACH.

We decided at very short notice to take a car, our hotel said it had to be ordered a day in advance... then we called (around 4 p.m.) and asked if we could get a rental car for 6 p.m. (for just one day). We said we would take the cheapest and that was good. The panda was awesome! The owner was so kind and helpful, not often like that. He spoke perfect German, but would like to retire in a few years :( (Bless him!) There were zero problems with collection and return. Highly recommended. Just call or go there.

The Ford, with its 130,000 km, was also in reasonable condition given its age. We would rent here again.

We rented a car for a day to explore the island. We called spontaneously the day before and got a car for the next day (Opel Corsa - very well maintained, newer model). The owner speaks great German and was very friendly. We picked up the car in the morning - processing went smoothly (priced at 70 + 15 deductible for fully comprehensive insurance). Then return it with a full tank in the evening. Would rent a car there again at any time.

Experiencing a bit of Malle culture for a day with a rental car was a change from the daily visit to Schinkenstrasse. Our rental car was almost new and cost 80 + 20 insurance. The only drawback is the early return at 8:00 p.m. on the same day. Certainly because they dont have their own parking spaces in front of the office and the staff drives the cars straight into the underground car park.
