FRAUD! Rent at your own risk. Full insurance coverage was added to the rental without my knowledge. All I was shown was the box to sign at the end and not the additional charges. The agent made it sound like it was just basic stuff. When I complained to Avis customer service, their response was, "Tough. You signed the contract." No concern that their employees are cheating customers. Evidently they just want the money any way they can get it. Shocking.
Muy poca profesionalidad. Se realizo una reserva para recoger un vehiculo el pasado dia 19 de febrero a las 22:30. Como era fuera de hora nos imponen un recargo de 60euros que aceptamos. Nos dicen que una persona estara esperandonos para entregarnos el vehiculo. Cuando llegamos a Murcia, no habia nadie. Dos personas esperando de 22:10 a 23:15 de la noche, llamando a todos los numeros de contacto que aparecian en la ventanilla e internet, y nada. Una de las personas que iban en el viaje, ademas, habia salido de Asturias por la manana y llevaba todo el dia en el tren. Al dia siguiente teniamos que estar en Cartagena a las 9:00 de la manana y, como tampoco abren pronto, tuvimos que coger un taxi. Por cierto, es mas barato ir y volver a Cartagena en Taxi que la opcion mas barata de Avis. Una verguenza la poca profesionalidad de Avis. Ni siquiera tuvieron el valor de llamar al dia siguiente para disculparse cuando vieron que el vehiculo no habia sido recogido, sino que esperaron a nuestra llamada de protesta. No vuelvo a utilizar el servicio de Avis ni aunque me paguen por ello. Les pongo una estrella porque no se puede puntuar con menos...
Very little professionalism. A reservation was made to pick up a vehicle on February 19 at 10:30 p.m. As it was after hours, they imposed a surcharge of 60 euros, which we accepted. They tell us that a person will be waiting to deliver the vehicle to us. When we arrived in Murcia, there was no one. Two people waiting from 10:10 p.m. to 11:15 p.m., calling all the contact numbers that appeared on the window and on the internet, and nothing. One of the people who were on the trip had also left Asturias in the morning and had been on the train all day. The next day we had to be in Cartagena at 9:00 in the morning and, since they don't open early, we had to take a taxi. By the way, it is cheaper to get to and from Cartagena by Taxi than the cheapest Avis option. The lack of professionalism from Avis is a shame. They didn't even have the courage to call the next day to apologize when they saw that the vehicle had not been picked up, but instead waited for our protest call. I will never use the Avis service again even if they pay me for it. I give them one star because you can't rate them with less...
The app didn't work but when I called AVIS Murcia they said don't worry we have plenty of cars. When I arrived they wanted to charge me three times more than the price on the app. I went to a competitor and got a similar price as the original quote on the app. A lot of hassle because it was a late pick and the competitor had to wait for me to arrive,

I returned a vehicle to this office when traveling from Murcia airport. Upon arrival in mid afternoon the office was closed with a sign on door back in 15 minutes, I waited nothing happened at which time I phoned to be told leave the keys and you will need to get a taxi back to the office. No shuttle service available at all. I was told phone the number on the office window, I did and literally within one minute a taxi appeared from across the road, this place is not in a built up area but near a junction on the autovia. This taxi then charged me EUR23 to go five minute journey to the terminal. Do not use this service it is very poor.
