Used Oscar Car Rental a number of times in Spain. Always good service and value. This time was no difference. Good communication in advance of the booking.
A NIGHTMARE!: Cars held together with sticky tape, deformed by crash, tyres slashed ( see photos). Plus: Never anybody present in office ( always call and WAIT) Cars kept on the streets, returned also to some parking space you had to find ( in an unknown , devilishly complicated city),no own parking garage or space. Damage (!) deposit took more than ten days to be returned. No alternative in Motril. Don't do it. You have been warned.
Absolutely horrible experience renting from Oscar Car Rental in Motril. The car we rented lasted about 10 minutes until the first hill then slowly died and I had trouble keeping it going in first gear! Finally on the second hill it started smoking and making terrible noises then completely died on the side of a major freeway. After promising several times to refund our rental fees, Oscar never did send my refund. Renter beware!!
