First time hiring a car and driving in a different country. I came prepared with a credit card as, from what I've researched, car hire companies always 'block' a certain amount of money on your card. I was also told on arrival that I wasn't insured... Not true! I purposely paid slightly extra to have full cover when I paid for the car online. I didn't complain and knew I had done the right thing. Car was great and what I asked for, a few scratches but I photographed the entire outside of the car before I took off! On return, it was surprisingly easy, I provided a receipt of a full tank and gave staff the keys. I was surprised when she didn't check the car over straight away so I took photos again! 3 days later and the deposit has been returned. I feel confident about using this company again.
Good but bit of a slow process to collect and car had lots of scratches
Never deal with this company. I never will again. Awful service and I was conned into buying protection because I didn't have my credit on me for the deposit (although my wife had one they wouldn't accept it). Zero common sense and generally quite a shocking process.
