I came to Merida in December and got an amazing rate. Came back in February and inquired about prices at Hertz, they wanted to charge us extra for having a foreign credit card, and even more for wanting to have a second driver on the insurance. I walked over to UB Rent a Car/Veloz and once again got an amazing rate. No extra charge for an additional driver and no weird fees for having a foreign credit card. The sign up process was super quick, and we got our rental without 15 minutes. No hassle! The service was amazing as always and we will definitely be coming back! These are honest people and everything is very straightforward.

Great service, fast and a decent car for a great price. And deposit instantly returned on the creditcard (which is uncommon, usually you need to chase for weeks or do a chargeback even).

5/5 Great Experience. My girlfriend and I were left stranded without a car after our airport rental reservation was given up to another person, so we went with UB / Veloz. At the time (Christmas - New Year) they had next day availability, compared to the other rental companies, and a slightly cheaper rate overall. The pickup and dropoff process was easy, 10-15 mins each time. The unlimited mileage is great too, utilize it to check out the Uxmal Ruins, Progreso, Sisal, etc. Will reserve/book with them again when I am back in Merida

Honest and reliable car rental. Prices are transparent from the beginning completely fair and there are no gimmicks. We had originally rented a car at the airport and were scammed out of 400 usd. So we're very happy to have had a really good experience with UB. They also gave us a complimentary ride to the airport which was so nice!
