I had a great experience with Rental Car Peninsula. They provided excellent service, picking me up from the airport and dropping me off afterward. They also shared helpful tips on the best cenotes to visit and recommended a few authentic Mexican restaurants. The rental price was reasonable, and the car itself was reliable and in great condition.
Rentamos un auto, cuando nos lo entregaron el auto tenia muchos detalles, (normales del uso) yo saque un video del mismo mostrando cada uno de ellos. Todo iba bien hasta que al momento de entregarlo notaron que tenia un detalle en la parte de enfrente y que serian 3 mil pesos extras. Les dije que me parecia excesivo para lo que era. Les pedi que me dieran opcion de llevarlo al otro dia a primera hora al hojalatero y dejarselo en su oficina (esto, porque eran las 9 pm), la empresa me dijo que entonces deberia pagar 1 dia completo de renta mas la reparacion, que terminaba siendo la misma cantidad o mas. No hubo flexibilidad ni mas opciones de su parte. Me quede pensando que si se van quedando con las fianzas de todos los clientes, por minimas imperfecciones que encuentran, claro que resulta muy rentable su negocio, porque ni las arreglan, (el auto tenia muchos detalles) y ni pagan impuestos, te dicen que si te ocurre un siniestro, no digas que es un auto rentado, te piden que digas que es particular.
We rented a car, when they delivered it to us the car had many details, (normal for use) I took a video of it showing each one of them. Everything was going well until when they delivered it they noticed that it had a detail on the front and that it would be 3 thousand extra pesos. I told them that it seemed excessive for what it was. I asked them to give me the option of taking it first thing the next day to the tinsmith and leaving it in their office (this, because it was 9 pm), the company told me that then I would have to pay 1 full day's rent plus the repair, which ended being the same amount or more. There was no flexibility or more options on his part. I was left thinking that if they keep the deposits of all the clients, no matter how minimal imperfections they find, of course their business is very profitable, because they don't even fix them, (the car had many details) and they don't even pay taxes, they tell you that If an accident occurs to you, do not say that it is a rented car, they ask you to say that it is private.
