Por telefono me dijeron que si y ya en fisico que no, lo que vi es que si eres de un estado cercano no te rentan quiza tengan desconfianza pero para mi fue una perdida de tiempo, mi camioneta se descompuso en Merida y mientras la arreglaban quise rentar con ellos y dos arrendadoras locales mas y fue lo mismo te dicen si y al final que no ya cuando ven tu direccion, definitivamente es mejor en alguna arrendadora de renombre.
On the phone they told me yes and in person they said no, what I saw is that if you are from a nearby state they don't rent you, maybe they are distrustful but for me it was a waste of time, my truck broke down in Merida and while they were fixing it I wanted I rented with them and two other local landlords and it was the same thing, they said yes and in the end they said no when they see your address, it is definitely better to go to a reputable landlord.

Got a Volkswagen Jetta for a good price, and they returned the whole deposit. If you're not from Mexico, you might feel safer going with Hertz or Budget. I did too, at first. But I rented with Jaguar, and got a better car for a slightly lower price. Also, there was no surprise when I returned the car, they returned the deposit. If you try to book online with other agencies, you'll either pay double, or get a good price, only to arrive and find out you have to buy insurance for thousands of pesos more. Jaguar is a good deal, without surprises.
