EXTREMELY TERRIBLE SERVICE!! We booked a car months in advance to pick up from the airport. When we arrived we were waiting for the shuttle, the shuttle never showed up, they kept telling us on the phone 5-10 mins. After an hour they finally said the truth. THEY HAD ZERO CARS AVAILABLE!!!!! And we struggled to get another car because all the agencies were closed and out of cars. DO NOT RECOMMEND VERY VERY BAD SERVICE!!!
Google took us to the airport, which took us right past the store front. As you first turn into the airport road, look for the building on your right hand side. After we were lost for 10-15 minutes, an Enterprise person came and found us. We followed him to the right place. They were very helpful!!!!
It was a pleasure to rent a vehicle from this location. No unnecessary coverages were pushed on me. There was a minor discrepency in the final bill that they helped solve quickly and efficiently.
$40 car plus $40 "full coverage" full of holes. I exercised my only option as a consumer in the face of mendacity: walk away. So much for seeing the Puuc Route.
They do not respect their rental prices, and they try to force you an insurance, my rental cost was less than 18000 pesos and they bump it up to 30000, and the excuse was the system automatically adds that extra insurance, and "according" to the person who was at the counter is a must, so why do they give you the option when making the reservation? According to the polices on their own web page the only mandatory insurance per Mexico Law is the third party liability anything else is optional.
The best place to get a car in Merida. We had tried to rent a car from Budget through Expedia, but turns out there's a lack in communication between third party apps like Expedia and rental companies, so Budget ended up not having any cars available. We walked to Avis who tried charging us an arm & a leg for a car, but then we went to Enterprise where Josue took perfect care of us. He gave us a great car at a reasonable rate & was overall very warm & welcoming. He literally saved us money, time, & frustration. Thank you, Josue!
A little disappointed, the car I reserved was not there and I had to talk a sedan instead of an SUV, worst thing about it was, they charged me the same price.
WOW. just wow. We just showed up to get our van to catch our flight to Cancun tomorrow morning, it had been reserved weeks ago, we're taking our family tomorrow morning with two small children and.... There's no van. Nothing, nada. They didn't even have the decency to contact us that the van wouldn't be available, or have an alternative for us. When we asked the front desk person how can this be, his response was: "well, this is Mexico." This is the worst customer service I've ever received from Enterprise. And now, we're left scrambling at 8:30pm to find a van for tomorrow first thing in the morning.
