The service is amazing, polite kind and professional, the location is great Fiesta Americana in Merida Mexico. Stay away from fox/Europe they will steal your money and try to charge you for damage that was previously done and they are very rude. Only go with budget car rental........they provide good customer care.

I would like to warn all visitors about renting a car with this place. They are scammers, why because they tried to scam me by telling me that they had no cars and they would find me another place to rent from. They also tried to charged me about $800 dollars for the rental. Be aware and be safe. Budget will scam you if you're not careful.

Basically stay away if you can, Eric is a big liar, try to rip-off me in a couple of deceptive ways, the second star is for Rebecca which is great and helpful. Try to look for her.

Rented a car last week. Car was quite beat up and expensive. When we went to return it at 7.45pm the office was open but know one inside We finally made a call to the airport office and the person on duty arrived 5 minutes later. When we complained about waiting 1 and a half hours he told us he was having dinner. No apology.

I booked a car for a weekend, upon pickup they asked us to sign so many nonsense documents then they brought a rental car for us that was old, dirty and had so many damages. I didn't feel confident driving the car out of the town so I asked them to give us a better /newer car but they told us they don't have any other cars. I canceled my reservation, such a bad experience. Do yourself a favour and stay away from them!

Are you looking for adventure travel or no travel at all? Well, this is your place. The email they send you contains an address at the opposite side of town and it is NOT a nice part of town you will End up in. Make sure you have a data plan to figure out where to go. When you arrive at the Budget office there is a sign telling you the office hours but the staff is nowhere to be found during the advertised business hours. When you call, the person will tell you immediately that you are late and that is why they don't have a car for you. After you tell them that they sent you the wrong address the guy tells you that they have not had cars since yesterday. I love when the target keeps changing. When you ask if they have cars at the airport he says no. When you call the office at the airport they say yes. Whoever runs this office is a clown- a true lifestyle manager. Never at work, not shy to lie and collecting a paycheck. Caution: when you then go next door to National or other local companies they charge you $100 USD a day for a tiny car and some want $1200-$2000 USD in security deposit - and when you check their reviews they are terrible about returning the money. Not the way to attract visitors! Scamy - lazy- lying: overall pathetic and not worth supporting. STAY AWAY

Both Jorge who took my reservation and Nellsy who I picked the car up from and returned to were extremely helpful and warm about the car, insurance and Merida as well as offering tips for local cenotes. Thank you and Budget, these employees deserve a raise! Not only were they knowledgeable about cars but they made my experience in a different country that much easier by both their local tips, patience with my Spanish and the English that they know. You're lucky to have them as employees.
