Agreed. They double the price from internet prices for liability insurance. If you come here not knowing that you're not doing diligence. Now I know the kind of company Avis is and they're on my 'don't use anywhere" list. Alamo shows cost of 3rd party liability insurance when you order car.
Sin lugar a dudas de las peores experiencias para rentar un automovil, disfrazan el precio en internet, nunca son claros en cuanto a los precios reales, posteriormente al momento de realizar la entrega te condicionan la entrega del vehiculo a tres opciones de tal manera que en el peor de los escenarios terminas recibiendo un cargo en tu TDC del doble de lo que pagaste por la renta del automovil asi como deposito en efectivo de 30mil pesos. En pocas palabras no recomendable en absoluto.

No le pongo menos porque no se puede. Te ofrecen un precio en internet y cuando llegas te ofrecen un seguro forzoso de 800 pesos o hacerte un cargo de 30,000 pesos. La empresa mas tranza que he conocido, pura perdida de tiempo y dinero.

This place is a scam. Adam tried to rip me off for $2000 after I cancelled my reservation well over 48 hours in Advance. Thankfully my credit card company recognized this shady behavior and reimbursed me. Beware of companies like Avis in Merida, who take advantage of non fluent spanish speakers to scam them out of $$$$$
En su pagina de internet dicen una cosa y ponen "promociones" que no son respetadas en mostrador; te ocultan el valor de seguro que solo te lo dan al momento de firmar el contrato, cuando otras empresas son claras con los costos desde la cotizacion. Ademas, no garantizan la disponibilidad del vehiculo aun asi hayas reservado con tiempo. Les recomiendo Hertz o Budget, que ademas tienen mejores precios.
