El ano pasado de vacaciones en Merida rente una nissan urban chica, estando en la calle debidamente estacionado una persona salio de su casa con su vehicilo cruzando la calle y me choco, llego el seguro pero solo cobro lo del golpe y se cobraron con el deposito los dias que supuestamente se tardarian en repararlo, la camioneta tenia reparaciones de hojalateria mal hechos y se quedaron casi con 10,000 del deposito, tengan cuidado porque el contrato es leonino.
Last year on vacation in Merida I rented a small Nissan Urban, while it was properly parked on the street, a person left his house with his vehicle crossing the street and crashed, the insurance came but only charged for the crash and they were charged with the deposit. the days it was supposed to take to repair it, the truck had poorly done bodywork repairs and they were left with almost 10,000 of the deposit, be careful because the contract is leonine.
Lamentablemente, mi experiencia con la arrendadora AviLess Car Rental, fue muy decepcionante. Decidi alquilar un auto con ellos para mis vacaciones y fue un error (camioneta Dodge y Avanza, ambas blancas). Desde el primer momento, el vehiculo Dodge que nos dieron mostraba signos evidentes de falta de mantenimiento. Casi tuvimos un accidente en la carretera debido a problemas con la direccion y otros fallos mecanicos. Aunque cambiaron el coche, seguimos enfrentando problemas ahora con el Avanza por un tubo que rodaba la llanta, lo que arruino por completo nuestras vacaciones, nos hicieron cambiar de planeas y nos sentimos inseguras de tomar carretera. La seguridad de los clientes deberia ser una prioridad, y es decepcionante ver como una empresa no cumple con eso. No recomendaria esta arrendadora a nadie. !Evitenla a toda costa!
Unfortunately, my experience with the rental company AviLess Car Rental was very disappointing. I decided to rent a car with them for my vacation and it was a mistake (Dodge and Avanza van, both white). From the get-go, the Dodge vehicle we were given showed obvious signs of lack of maintenance. We almost had an accident on the highway due to steering problems and other mechanical failures. Although they changed the car, we are still facing problems now with the Avanza due to a tube that was rolling on the tire, which completely ruined our vacation, they made us change our plans and we felt unsafe about taking the road. Customer safety should be a priority, and it's disappointing to see a company fail to deliver on that. I would not recommend this landlord to anyone. Avoid it at all costs!
No recomiendo esta arrendadora. En el mes de febrero rente con esta empresa y tuve una muy buena experiencia con la persona que nos atendio en ese momento. Sin embargo, cuando intente utilizar el servicio nuevamente ahora en junio, realice la reserva para un familiar. El dia que llego mi familiar, la persona que atendio los mareo con muchos cambios. No respetaron los terminos de la reservacion y la persona que nos atendio se lavo las manos diciendo que no podia hacer nada: - querian cobrar una comision por cobrar con tarjeta de credito, cosa que ya no es legal en Mexico - queria cobrar el doble en deposito en garantia cuando la reserva por escrito decia un monto especifico mucho menor. - a la hora de preguntar sobre la cobertura del seguro nos mareo diciendonos que finalmente no cubria todo, cosa que nos nos explicaron la ultima vez que rentamos, ni cuando reservamos. - finalmente, no rentamos con ellos y encontramos mejores opciones, aun asi tuvieron aun el descaro de hablar luego para decirnos que no compartimos bien la informacion al familiar y que practicante echandonos la culpa a los que reservamos, cuando tengo todos los terminos de la reserva por escrito que ellos mismos enviaron y son ellos quienes no quisieron respetar esos terminos. No generan confianza en el cliente ni explican bien la informacion, aun cuando ya habiamos rentado previamente con ellos.
I do not recommend this landlord. In the month of February I rented with this company and I had a very good experience with the person who assisted us at that time. However, when I tried to use the service again now in June, I made the reservation for a family member. The day my family member arrived, the person who attended made them dizzy with many changes. They did not respect the terms of the reservation and the person who attended us washed his hands saying that there was nothing he could do: - They wanted to charge a commission for charging by credit card, which is no longer legal in Mexico - I wanted to charge double the security deposit when the written reservation said a specific amount that was much lower. - When it came to asking about the insurance coverage, they made us dizzy, telling us that in the end it did not cover everything, something that was explained to us the last time we rented, nor when we booked. - Finally, we did not rent with them and we found better options, yet they still had the nerve to speak later to tell us that we did not share the information well with the family member and that they practiced blaming those of us who booked, when I have all the terms of the reservation in writing that they themselves sent and they are the ones who did not want to respect those terms. They do not generate confidence in the client or explain the information well, even when we had previously rented with them.
Be Careful!!! Read the reviews! Everything about this place is true. Their vehicles are not in the best condition, they will try to sell you the full insurance and if you don't buy it they will try to find any minor detail on the car they force you to rent and nail you $$$! DO NOT RENT FROM THIS PLACE YOU WILL REGRET IT!!
Great overall. Rented a new car, so it didn't have much use before us, it was a bit dirty on the outside but didn't matter to us. The process was smooth, nothing out of the ordinary. When we returned the car, they inspected it and all was good. No issue, positive experience. Fair price.
Check before you rent a car, the Air Condition... its doesn't work property. The people working there are so nice.
Marcos was great. Very fair price for a quality car. I definitely recommend this place. I will never try to use Avis or Hertz or any other "big name" company again when i'm in Merida.
