Efficient service: The guy who handled the reservation was friendly and enthusiastic. He offered the excess insurance upgrade as you would expect, but once I confirmed that I already had cover, he accepted that. The car was an Audi A5 convertible and was absolutely perfect for an excursion into the hills with the top down. The Sixt app had a detailed record of all the pre-existing minor scratches on the car, which was useful when checking the car over at the start and end of the rental. Car return was fine, following the signs to find the Sixt section of the underground carpark. The man their was helpful and quick to process the return. Within twenty minutes of returning the car, I received an email confirming in writing that everything was in good order and no new damage. The rental wasn't the cheapest, but booking well in advance and going multi-day brought the cost down. It's a premium product, so I'm satisfied with the value for money.
I rented a car in advance and was sold an upgrade upon arrival. During the handover, there was no time for a proper vehicle inspection, so I had to pick it up myself from the parking garage. Since the garage was dark, we drove the car out to inspect it and documented any damage with photos. We showed these photos later that evening, and the staff member said, "No problem, just send the photos." However, this has now escalated into a legal dispute. I am the insured party but am not willing to be held responsible for damage I did not cause. A small consolation is that I'm apparently not the first person to face such an issue; it seems to be a common occurrence at this SIXT branch. One can draw their own conclusions as to why. For me, SIXT is now a red flag.

Had a great experience, came for an Audi A1, left with a Q2 as there were no A1's left. Brand new car, did everything right and was the best thing we did during our stay. Easy handover and clear en fast e-mails regarding the contract and billing.
Uncomplicated and fast process. Malcom was great and very helpful, upgraded us to a bigger vehicle class at no additional cost, which was a nice touch if he didn't have to do it. Can recommend!
Excellent experience with high quality seamless service. Booked a BMW 1 Series for one day and got upgraded to a Mercedes C Class on the day. Car felt as new and felt safe and secure booking with a well established brand compared to past experiences of smaller local companies. Had a great experience hiring a car from SIXT. The car was the one we wanted, there was no bother in getting a baby seat and the car itself drove really well. After care was faultless, as my house keys and headphones had fallen out my bag, but I was contacted quickly and arranged a pick up.
I booked only a day in advance through Sixt mobile app and they didn't have the car ready in the morning when I came to the office. However it took only 15 minutes, so it's not that bad if you are not in a hurry. Staff was friendly. When booking they said it's going to be an A4 Audi, C-class Mercedes or comparable. I got the C Merc and they said it was an upgrade. I thought it was a bit of a gimmick bjt atleast I got what I was promised.
