Second time I've used these guys, cannot fault Juan and the team. I called them and asked for a car for the following day. Was told it would be dropped off to my hotel at no extra cost. When Juan arrived he had upgraded me for free. Had an almost brand new car, that we honestly didn't make the most of, but service etc were second to none. I also took the 9 euro extra insurance because for the cost of a couple of beers it leave nothing to worry about. Thanks again and see you next time

An awesome car rental company. From the initial call to rental completion, Islacar were prompt, efficient and terrific value with no hidden costs; hidden costs after agreeing to hire are so common place, it was a relief to rent with such ease. Even the insurance was straightforward, paid via Debit Card, only using a Credit Card as source of guarantee. Eve was the representative we dealt with, such a competent person who arranged for car drop and collection with ease. Car was clean, modern and well looked after.

We hired a low cost car to get us around the Island during our holiday. All great, car we were allocated was bigger than we requested (not charged extra for it), though high mileage and reflective wear and tear. But did the job, no issue with payment, and car collected from our hotel reception at the end of the hire period. Friendly service from Manuel, very professional. No issues. Just what you need from a hire car company.

Beste bilutleien i Gran Canaria! This was my first time renting a car in Gran Canaria. I stayed at Lopesan Baobab and tried to research where to rent a car. After checking all the other rental companies, I was worried about high costs for damages, insurance and fraud. Islacar had the highest rating with the best reviews. All the other competitors had a "catch" for ordering the car. Even the car rental company that my hotel had an agreement, told me to pay 20EUR over what was told on the website. I ordered a car through the website for a Citroen C1 (70 Euros + 9 Euros for insurance). The insurance covered the car for all damages. I booked the car to the hotel for 09.30 and got a phone call 09.00 that they were ready to deliver the car outside of the hotel without extra charges. Since they didn't have the car available I received a free upgrade from them. Since I payed for the insurance there wasn't any deposit for the car (insurance covered damages instead of a deposit). I even received more than 3/4 of the fuel (almost 3,5/4) and got told to deliver the car back with 3/4 instead! This was a dealbreaker for me to give this review. I am pleased with their services. They even showed me how to start the car, showed me the features, and also they changed the system from Spanish to English. They even asked to change it to my native language that is Norwegian! The car drove perfect without any problems. Minor damages on the car but we were told to take pictures of it. They also had a log to show that the damages were already there. I parked the car on the street and delivered the key to the reception. This has been the greatest experience for renting a car in another country. (I have rented from many different in other countries) I recommend it to everyone. The staff I pleasant and there isn't anything to put a finger on! They also spoke fluent English. I sincerely wanted to recommend Islacar. Unbeatable value for money: 70th for 8 days of rental at the end of September. We were greeted by Juan at the airport, very friendly, remained available via whatsapp throughout our stay in Gran Canaria. Easy communication, we collected the car in a few minutes without any difficulty. It is absolutely necessary to have a credit card as everywhere abroad (and not debit), otherwise you will not be able to collect your vehicle. The deposit is taken, in our case 750th, then returned within 48 hours following the end of the rental. Clean car, almost new, everything in perfect condition. We chose to take a 75HP car but if we had to do it again we would have chosen a more powerful one because there are a lot of mountain roads to do, especially for hiking on the island. In short, islacar is very reliable, go for it.

Unfortunately, there is no information that you have to pay a deposit of up to 400 and I found out about it only when picking up the car. If we have so much cash, it is better to pay in cash because if we pay by card we will receive a refund to our account in and the bank will deduct as much as PLN 160-180 after converting it into PLN.

We booked a car here through a booking portal. Everything went great from the pickup to the handover. No extra insurance was added. In addition to Spanish, the seller also spoke English and a bit of German. So we were able to talk easily. We had a newer model KIA with almost 18,000km on the clock. Navi was also included. We would rent a car here again at any time.

Na 2 dagen melding banden zacht na deze opgepompt te hebben, volgende dag, we waren ruim 40 km verderop een Aquapark, wederom deze melding,toch maar even met Isla-cars gebeld men stond erop naar ons te komen en de wagen om te ruilen geen probleem zelfs zoals vandaag op Zondag. Men kwam iets later als afgesproken maar goed hij nam wagen mee en wij kregen een andere waar hij mee was aan komen rijden, wat een service waar maak je dit mee, ontzorgen en probleem oplossen, hoe simpel kan het zijn, grote klasse! Onze huur periode van 5 dagen was voorbij hoe auto in te leveren, simpel parkeer hem bij jullie appartement geef even door waar hij staat, en geef sleutel af bij receptie, ja echt geen probleem of enig moeilijk gedoe! Aldus gedaan,nog even gebeld en wagen gevuld met de eruit gereden brandstof helemaal prima en makkelijk! Dus ben je op dit eiland gewoon Isla-car bellen is ons motto! Mochten we hier nog eens terug komen weet ik waar een auto gehuurd moet worden!

Por suerte fuimos a la oficina y se medio arreglo con el jefe y ahi entendi que si tiene buenas resenas es por el, no por su empleado que se llevo 20 euros finalmente, no 50. Espero que si este empleado intenta enganar sin avisar a alguien mas, al menos tenga educacion.
