What happened when we picked up the car: * 2.5-hour wait for pick-up. * There was a queue of 10 people in front of us and more behind. * It took 15-20 minutes for the guy at the counter to handle each customer. * Reason: the guy at the front desk typed all information into the system by hand (which we had already provided before via booking.com, just like most people). * He also said there was a shortage of staff, but the company refused to hire more people. * No proper handover of the car and no damage report was given or sent to us. * He tried to sell us local, very expensive insurance, despite the fact that we had already purchased one through booking.com that covered everything. * The way he tried selling the insurance was quite confusing. We did not buy it. What happened upon return: * The car was checked, and (this time another guy) walked around the car for 1-2 minutes. * He then asked, "Do you have pictures?" * I said, "Why?" * He: "There is a scratch on the right rear side that wasn't there before." * It was a very minor scratch, right next to a larger one. * I showed him a picture I had taken upon pick-up, where the larger scratch was visible, but the smaller one wasn't due to the angle/lighting on the white car. * Luckily, I had taken several pictures from different angles, and the small scratch was indeed visible in another picture. * Only later did I realize I should have asked for the damage report right away. * When we went back to the office, I asked why the damage report wasn't sent to me when we rented the car (as it should have been). * He checked the system and asked if my email was correct in the system. * It was wrong. * His colleague had typed it incorrectly into the system before (remember, all our information was provided to them via booking.com beforehand). * Such an "unfortunate mistake." Draw your own conclusion. Based on my personal experience, I do not recommend OK Mobility at Valencia Airport.
We arrived late at the airport shop due to a delayed flight. We had during booking informed OK Mobility of our flight number, and so I assumed they would be aware of our late arrival. After a bit more than 3 hours delay we arrived just before the store closed (had it closed already I would've had no idea what to do - which was the case for a lot of other customers) and we were forced to upgrade to a better car and pay an extra $8/day. However, that being said, we had good customer service, a great, clean, and new hybrid car, and no problems handing it back. Generally very smooth.
Scam, scam, scam, scam, scam!!!!!! We dropped the car off and the guy working without a uniform said we could go because it would take 30 minutes for them to check the car (the place was empty). We decided to wait because it felt dodgy and had left a large deposit (EUR1,300). After 5 minutes, the guy checked the car and found a scratch but luckily we had photographs that proved it was there before--which he never even looked at. He then found another "scratch" and said we should have bought insurance with them (we had bought insurance through a third party). We then asked where the other "scratch" was and he said it didn't matter and wouldn't show us... it seemed like he was trying to make out he was doing us a favour. Luckily, we got the deposit back but only because we were firm. The whole thing felt like we were trying to be scammed, and after reading some of the other reviews, it sounds like people have had a similar experience. Watch out!
Great car. I ordered Cupra Formentor with model guarantee and I got Cupra Formentor 2.0 TDI DSG. Great condition. Full tank. No problem with return. I didn't have full insurance because I got my own insurance. They were not trying to prove any false new damage on the car. After 15 minutes I recieved confirmation via e-mail that my deposit will be fully released without any charges.
WATCH OUT. DANGER. The worst experience ever in a rental company. Arrived at Valencia airport 1 hour after midnight with my wife and two kids, very tired.... The person in charge, tried to make me buy a new insurance for the car worthing 240 euros for 5 days, while the cost of the whole rental was 200 euros ( including the insurance that I bought through internet and told me that it doesn't count!!! ). Furthermore he tried to persuade me to buy fuel for EUR70 in order not to fill it up myself, telling me that in the morning (06.30) I couldn't find a gas station open that it was completely false. He didn't stay to check the car with me and complete the form where the car has some scratches. He proposed to take pictures and video if I find anything wrong with the car. But while I didn't buy the insurance he recommend , I was threatened to pay fine (300-400 EUR) if I return the car with any scratch. Last but not least , when I return the car at 7:00 in the morning the same person, didn't want to come and check the vehicle with me, instead proposed to leave the key cars in the box and leave. Of course I didn't accept it and I didn't leave until he sent an email that everything was okay with the car. IT'S A SHAME. BE AWARE.
We had the plane 3 hours late, when we went to the store it was very late and they told us that the car we reserved is no longer available but you have to get another car adding plus 15 euros a day and it is a bit more expensive than what we expected for our budget. The rest of the service and the car were perfect.
Fantastic service and great car! Second driver for free was great!! Excellent collection service from Juan in the terminal and even took the time to walk us out to show directions to the car collection point! Brilliant drop off service from Pablo - perfecto
I get brand new Ford Puma. At arrival Customer Care ask me if I want this Ford for add 16EUR per day but I denied and finally I get it for free. Additional AC assistance for 40EUR boughted. My deposit of 1350EUR was quickly released.
