We did not have credit card on us, so the staff said that they cannot hand over the car to us. It is our fault for not checking thoroughly, but the staff did not offer any solutions, just left us stranded at the airport. We did get the car at the Alamo rental, which accepts debit card and the staff is much more responding.

Rental was seamless. No hard sell for excess insurance at the desk, and they make the charging easy by providing their own RFID card so it's gets centrally billed. They gave me the option of a telsa or polestar. Went with the dual motor Telsa, which had a great range. They email you the condition report for you to check on collection. There were a few marks missing, but were small so didn't raise it. No issues on return and was only charged PS43 for 900 miles of EV charging. You need to return with the battery above 80% to avoid them charging you, but plenty of chargers within 10miles so no issue. We use again.

For this mark on the back wheel, the company charged EUR156 !! They do it automatically and systematical for any little marks (this was the "entry" fees but is can go much higher), so better to avoid Hertz. They do attractive prices then charge you extras. This costed me almost the same price as the rental price for 9 days...! I've tried many rental car companies, I'm always very careful, never had an issue. It's the first and last time I rent with Hertz.

Do not rent any car from here!!! Especially with excess. If you have some troubles they charge all the excess unfairly. When you ask detailed invoices they act like a fool and send you some files that impossible to open.

My renting experience at Hertz Valencia Airport was better than what I expected. First of all once you get to the airport you will see that their office right at the airport building is closed but has a sign that it's open at their parking location which is walking distance from the airport building right as you exit the building and follow signs to go across to the rental parking lot! Super easy and helpful when you not familiar with the area! The gentleman that helped me with my car rental went above and beyond to accommodate or answer any of my questions, to make my experience easy! I would like to Thank Ximo for such great customer service experience! Most definitely will recommend this location and this individual to anyone who is looking for renting a car while in Valencia!

Watch out for incorrect extra charges on the invoice! In my case it was 100 EUR for "grupo superior", which then transformed into "vehicle upgrade" on the final invoice. I was able to get a refund through customer support email. The cars and the customer service are great, though.

Everything was seamless and easy, staff were very friendly and helpful. Extremely pleased with our experience and the car. Was worth renting and driving from Valencia to Barcelona. Would definitely recommend Hertz and taking the trip. Wouldn't hesitate to rent with this location again.

The same as always with Hertz... You leave their facilities and the fuel has already decreased. The same thing always happens... Always. And we always pay the same price. Its as easy as seeing the cars kilometers of autonomy. If I can do 720 km with a full tank, and I pick up the car and I can do 610 km.... Its just that there are liters of fuel missing. Otherwise they are in the middle, between the regrettable service of Budget/Avis and the excellence of Sixt.

This company is just the worst I have ever seen, we rented the car when we arrived at 11:05, they did not wait for us when we had said we would arrive on the 11:00 flight. Then we went to get the car the next day and they said that we had already lost the reservation and the money, why dont they return it, because we didnt pick up the car on the day as agreed, very late.? Terrible attention and no collaboration, they didnt care at all, they already had the money in their pocket. We had to rent another car and pay again for a week at another company, of course much better and better service.

Esta empresa solo es lo peor que he visto alquilamos el auto cuando llegamos a las 11,05 no nos esperaron cuando habiamos dicho que llegamos en el vuelo de las 11 . Luego fuimos por el auto el dia siguiente y dijeron que ya habiamos perdido la reserva y el dinero por que no lo devuelven , por que el auto no lo recogimos el dia segun el muy tarde de lo pactado .? Una atencion pesima y nada de colaboracion no les importaba nada ellos ya tenian el dinero en su bolsillo. Nos toco alquilar otro auto pagar nuevamente una semana en otra empresa., claro mucho mejor y mejor atencion.

Very very bad experience in this agency. Lots of people to collect the car, the agents make a person pass in front of us even though we are gold. We are given a Ford Focus car with shocks everywhere (at least 20), we are asked to check ourselves if everything is on the report, with a front camera that does not work, an auto lighting system that does not work. not turned off when the car is closed and worst of all, on the way back we are shown yet another shock largely under the car. We are criticized for not having seen it when this car has shocks everywhere. We are told that the file will be closed and that we will not pay, then an email is received with an invoice for 320... the commercial policy of this agency is an absolute joke like the state of their vehicles. I do not recommend renting from this agency and I will apply it to myself for Hertz in general. We feel robbed by this type of practice.

Tres tres mauvaise experience dans cette agence. Beaucoup de monde pour recuperer la voiture, les agents font passer une personne devant nous alors que nous sommes gold. On nous donne une voiture Ford Focus avec des chocs partout (au moins 20), on nous demande de verifier nous meme si tout est sur le rapport, avec une camera avant qui ne marche pas, un systeme d eclairage auto qui ne s eteint pas quand la voiture est fermee et le pire au retour on nous montre un nieme choc en grande partie sous la voiture. On nous dit que le dossier sera cloture et que l on ne paiera pas, puis un mail est recu avec une facture de 320 la politique commerciale de cette agence est une blague absolue comme l etat de leurs vehicules. Je vous deconseille de louer dans cette agence et je vais me l appliquer a moi meme pour Hertz en general. On resent comme vole par ce genre de pratique.

Terrible treatment, non-compliance with what they promote and they make you sign the contract before showing you the vehicle, and they are very kind in trying to trick you into upgrading the vehicle category although this entails changing your insurance and an excess in case of damage whose contract you sign before to inspect. Once and no more... before I run out of a vehicle I hire this company again. If they review the Consumption signature procedure before inspecting the vehicle, they will surely be fined. Including the clause that they charge you in advance for fuel and the refueling charge, assuming that you are an untrustworthy person... and that you are going to deceive them.

Una y no mas antes me quedo sin vehiculo que vuelvo a contratar con esta empresa. Si les revisan Consumo el procedimiento de firma antes de revision del vehiculo les van a multar seguro. Incluyendo la clausula que te cobran por adelantado el combustible y el cargo de respotaje dando por hecho que eres una persona de no confianza.. y que les vas a enganar.

I rented a rental car from Hertz at Valencia Airport at the beginning of May. All the staff were really very friendly. The vehicle was in top condition, i.e. no damage and very clean. Very good transaction. In summary: great satisfaction.

It doesnt get any worse, if 0 stars were possible then I would share it. Maybe car rental or Hertz in general, but certainly this Hertz at this airport. It is clear that damage (mis)communication is a revenue model (cash cow) here. It is a (too) long file to share here, but if you receive a car with a lot of damage (dents and scratches), do not accept it. You are sure that if you return to me, even if you do not accept it, you will have to pay for damage that you did not cause. Even in retrospect, your suggestion is completely unreasonable. But the best advice I can give you, dont rent here. Communication is also poor and blunt.

On September 19th, 2024 we wanted to pick up our reserved vehicle at the Hertz counter in Valencia Airport. The reserved class was PDAR, which corresponds to a premium class e.g. Mercedes C Class. The employee explained to us rather rudely that Hertz only has one Subaru in stock in this class and that other vehicles would be charged a surcharge of around 100%. Of course we refused and asked for his business card. The unfriendly employee told us that he didnt have any business cards and held out his employee ID card to us. When I wanted to take a photo of his name, he got up, gave us back our IDs/drivers licenses and said that we would no longer be able to get a vehicle from him. He then sent us to Sixt, Europcar and Co. We explained to him that this is not the way to treat customers and that there will be consequences. His colleague then intervened and tried to clarify the matter and then gave us the Subaru mentioned. The whole thing is outrageous to treat people like that! If you were at the mercy of such an employee and the colleagues hadnt been there, we would be left without a vehicle! We will share this process. It cannot be that the Hertz car rental company has no cars available in the premium range in the off-season and employees do not try to satisfy the customer, but rather leave the customer without a vehicle! Am 19.09.2024 wollten wir am Hertz Schalter im Flughafen Valencia, unser reserviertes Fahrzeug abholen. Die reservierte Klasse war PDAR entspricht einer Premiumklasse z.B. Mercedes C Klasse. Der Mitarbeiter, erklarte uns ziemlich unfreundlich, dass Hertz nur ein Subaru in dieser Klasse vorratig hat und andere Fahrzeuge einen Aufschlag von ca. 100% betragen wurde. Dies lehnten wir naturlich ab und baten um seine Visitenkarte. Der unfreundlich Mitarbeiter sagte uns das er keine Visitenkarten hat und streckte uns seinen Mitarbeiterausweis entgegen. Als ich darauf hin seinen Namen fotografieren wollte , stand er auf gab uns unsere Ausweise/ Fuhrerscheine zuruck und sagte das wir kein Fahrzeug mehr bei ihm bekommen. Er schickte uns dann zu Sixt , Europcar und Co. Wir erklarten ihm, dass man so nicht mit Kunden nicht umgeht und das das Folgen haben wird. Sein Kollege ist dann dazwischen gegangen und hat versucht die Angelegenheit zu klaren und gab uns dann den erwahnten Subaru. Das ganze ist Ungeheuerlich so mit Menschen umzugehen! Wenn man solch einem Mitarbeiter ausgeliefert ist und es den Kollegen nicht gegeben hatte, wurden wir ohne Fahrzeug dastehen! Wir werden diesen Vorgang teilen. Es kann nicht sein das die Autovermietung Hertz, in der Nachsaison, im Premiumbereich keine Autos zur Verfugung hat und Mitarbeiter nicht bemuht sind dem Kunden zufrieden zu stellen, sondern den Kunden ohne Fahrzeug stehen zu lassen ! Hertz ist nach diesem Vorfall fur uns nicht mehr tragbar und auch nicht empfehlenswert.

Pague dinero extra porque pense que Herz era una empresa de buena reputacion. Lamentablemente tambien fraudes y estafas. Un pequeno aranazo en el retrovisor exterior, que ya estaba alli cuando lo recogi, me cobraron 65 + 50 de gastos de tramitacion. !Arrancar! Era el hombre con su largo cabello gris trenzado en una trenza, solo queria estafar a la gente.

Serious problems currently encountered. Our plane was delayed by 1h30. Let me start by saying that the car was paid for in full in advance. The reservation was for 6pm. At 7.40pm they no longer had the booked and fully paid for car available. They asked for a significant price supplement for another higher category vehicle or to wait at least an hour. I received a fine after a few weeks of rent, which I paid through the platform they provided me. The communication with Hertz left a lot to be desired but the worst was when they charged me 40 euros in administration fees for processing the fine when the cost of the fine itself was only 35 euros.
