Absolutely appalling service - had booked a hire car whilst still in the UK and had received confirmation of the booking. I initially used Enterprise in the first place due to them being a worldwide and reputable company so felt that I was taking a safe and reliable option. When I arrived at the Enterprise office (at Santander train station) on the morning of the collection my booking information, which included my email address and telephone number was sitting on the desk, however I was informed that despite my hire car being confirmed that there actually was not a car there for me! And even though my phone number and email address was there in front of them nobody had had the courtesy to inform me prior to me arriving. They then said that the best they could do was to take me to the airport based office where they would 'hopefully' have a car for me. When I arrived at the airport the Enterprise desk there said they did not have a car and that apparently this is a regular occurrence (be warned!) that they don't have a car available and can't fulfill the booking. I then ended up doing the one thing that I would never do and had to wander around the different car hire companies in the airport arrival hall asking if there was available cars - there was several extremely expensive options and the one that was the least expensive was almost double the price that I had confirmed by pre-booking with Enterprise. When I got back to the UK I phoned Enterprise to complain and was told that someone would get back to me within 5 working days. This did not happen so 9 working days later I phoned back myself to be told that there had been no update. This is another appalling case of poor customer service and lack of communication. I will absolutely never use enterprise again and will be making sure that my friends and family never do either.

Customer service was great and efficient, and prices were very reasonable. One piece of advice is to double check the confirmation email for the pick up and drop-off location of the car if you are dropping the rental car at a different location, as we had verbally confirmed the drop-off location to the person working there, but the drop-off location in the email was different. It all worked out in the end but it could have been easily avoided if we had checked on our end. Also, if you are travelling to a more remote area/town with the rental car, I highly recommend getting a SIM card so you are able to contact the company if anything comes up. Would definitely rent a car with them again!

I am not so sure I can recommend this place. I had booked a car and had to pay some extra's at the counter (one way extra + extra driver). They used an old school calculator for making the price and then charged much more than I was expecting, referring to some vague 'airport tax'. After I had showed them the e-mail I had gotten from the rental company in which the extra's were summed up, they changed the price to what I thought it would be. If I hadn't been so vigilant and if I hadn't showed them the official documents', I'd probably have paid much more than I needed to. I am not saying this is a con, but it is certainly a big red flag. Be vigilant when you rent your car here, make sure you have the documents with you stating what you have already paid and still need to pay.

I was a bit nervous to book from this company, due to all the negative reviews, but i told to myself ,,ok, nevermind, i will try" and it was in the end the best idea. The girl at the counter called Blanca,was super cute and very professional! She gave me even the bigger van for my trip and explained me everything i needed to know:) The 400EUR deposit was back in my bank account 4/5 days after my trip! Best prices, best service! 5 out of 5

TOTAL SCAM- AVOID AT ALL COST! Rented a car online way in advance, paid in full. Called before I took off just to make sure everything was fine, and I was reassured my car was waiting. Arrived at Santander airport 2 hours later (in off peak season) only to be told all of the cars were in use and I'd have to go elsewhere, but promised I'd receive a full refund. 6 Months later I've been emailing and calling but getting repeatedly hung up on and no reply.

Fantastic service, kind and helpful staff. No surprises cost-wise, made reservation by phone and got an email with the offer, paid the same amount on pick-up. Actually the only surprise was that we got a free upgrade and received a nicer car than we paid for (due to availability but still a nice surprise nonetheless (: ). Easy pick-up and return. Highly recommend!

The two girls who are at the reception are terrible! Superb and should not be facing the public. They helped us with nothing. We will not book with this company again. My mother-in-law has ALS and the empathy they showed was zero. I dont recommend it at all.

I hired a car from Enterprise Rent-A-Car, and the next day the vehicle broke down because during the inspection they forgot to put the oil cap on. This not only caused us a lot of inconvenience, but also made me lose some tickets that I could no longer take advantage of. I have claimed a refund for that days rental and the cost of the tickets. Initially, they assured me that they would refund me because it was their mistake, but 16 days have passed since their last message and now they do not respond to my emails or calls. It is a total lack of professionalism, I do not recommend anyone hiring their services. I have a copy of the communications maintained, in view of the lack of professionalism of this company I have no choice but to initiate legal action, since they are ignoring me.

We had an accident on August 6, during a trip in which we were carrying a large amount of luggage. Liberty, our insurer, told us that Enterprise would provide us with a car of similar capacity to ours, but Enterprise managers informed us in the afternoon that they did not have a vehicle of those characteristics available. Finally, we accepted the utility car that they initially offered us, even though we could barely accommodate all the material we were carrying. However, these Enterprise salespeople refused to also provide us with this mobility solution, which did not fit what we needed at the time. Unfortunately, with their response they did not take into account the situation we faced after the accident and left us without a solution to the serious problem at the airport. We still do not understand the lack of consideration or empathy shown by both managers.

Liberty, nuestra aseguradora, nos indico que Enterprise nos proporcionaria un coche de capacidad similar al nuestro, pero los gestores de Enterprise en horario de tarde nos informaron que no tenian un vehiculo de esas caracteristicas disponible. Finalmente, aceptamos el coche utilitario que nos ofrecieron inicialmente, aunque apenas pudieramos acomodar todo el material que llevabamos. Sin embargo, estos comerciales de Enterprise rechazaron proporcionarnos tambien esta solucion de movilidad, que no se ajustaba a lo que necesitabamos en ese momento. Lamentablemente, con su respuesta no tuvieron en cuenta la situacion que enfrentabamos tras el accidente y nos dejaron sin solucion al grave problema en el aeropuerto. Seguimos sin comprender la falta de consideracion o empatia demostrada por ambos gestores.

I rented a van for a move. The day we picked it up they gave me another one much larger than what we had reserved. We were not able to move as we expected since the van they gave us did not fit into the garage. 1 day paid and lost. The way to deliver the van was in the worst way, in the middle of the street, in a queue of cars, without time to analyze it and providing us with half the information. During the trip the AdBlue notice went off, it was horrible to have to keep an eye on replenishing that and having to take care of something that corresponds to maintenance. At delivery they did not tell us where we had to leave the van. It doesnt fit in the normal parking lot. A disaster of service and attention. They have a published phone number that they never answer. I called the enterprise headquarters, they indicated that they were notifying the office so that they could contact me and I am still waiting. Disastrous attention.

No pudimos hacer la mudanza como esperabamos ya que la furgoneta que nos dieron no entraba en el garaje. 1 dia pagado y perdido.La forma de entregar la furgoneta fue de la peor forma, en mitad de la calle, haciendo cola de coches, sin tiempo para analizarla y facilitandonos mitad de informacion. Durante el viaje salto aviso de adblue, un horror tener que estar pendiente de reponer ese y tener que hacernos cargo de algo que corresponde a mantenimiento. En la entrega no nos indicaron donde teniamos que dejar la furgoneta. En el parking normal no entra. Un desastre de servicio y de atencion. Tienen publicado un telefono al cual nunca atienden. Llame a la central de enterprise indicaron que avisaban a la oficina para que contactaran conmigo y aun estoy esperando. Atencion nefasta.

Today, Sunday, I had a confirmed reservation for 6:00 p.m. at the Santander Airport office.
