Do not use this company, we always take our own excess protection insurance. This resulted in them taking a PS500 deposit and it took months to get the money back even though they acknowledged there was no issue with the car. It required numerous emails and calls and we incurred interest on the credit card in that time. I would never use again.

Price is OK and easy check-in but they debited 30EUR without warning few days AFTER we handed over the car. Their version: sand in the car + not enough fuel, although we left the car with exactly 1/4 fuel and it was written 1/4 on the contract. They said we had to leave the car with 1/2 (??) but when we ask for a picture of the contract for the proof that it was written 1/4, no reaction (we are 1 month later at the time of writing).

Had a nice brand new Fiat Doblo in February 2020. Picking up was very easy, there was a nice guy waiting for us at arrivals, took us 4 minutes walk in to the parking express area which is as close as is gets. The same with drop off, right in front off the departure hall. Everything went smoothly and as planned. So i happily recommend this car rental.

We have used Tony's Rent a Car for several year. The pick-up in the airport is smooth and efficient. The cars are in good shape and clean. Drop of is easy. We have not had any problems, even after a smaller accident with one of the cars. It was all covered by the insurance. No hazal for us. We travel to many destinations around the world and use car rentals. Tony's is in the top. We can give them our best recommendation.

I have used a great deal of car rental places in my travels also in Spain and Tony's Rent a Car is been the best value for money and the most pleasant and easiest to deal with. The staff are funny, friendly and very informative on the car rental information and any other local information I needed at the time. It was great and easy to return the car to where they ask you to leave it at the airport which made it great and time saving which I find is always a bonus. I would like to thank you from myself and I will always return to you if I need to rent a car again on one of my many trips to Spain.

Absolutely first class service. The representative met us at the arrivals gate as arranged. He was very professional, polite and explained clearly the returns procedure. After doing the paper work escorted us to the rental car which was in excellent condition and had been fully valeted. No silly petrol deals etc just plain good service, well recommended .

We returned the car 2 weeks ago and have not yet received a deposit back. A few days after the return it was said that the transfer had already been sent out. Nowadays no one responds to calls or WhatsApp (Eva). If that changes I will update this review.

Everything has to be arranged via the website, which is a shame. When you walk in you shouldnt expect them to help you. Fortunately, there are many other rental companies who will help you immediately if you come to the counter unannounced to want to rent a car. I was just shy of being snubbed and treated like a retard.

May 28 to 4th June. Have always used the big companies before covid etc. But these guys were clear and upfront with the rental. No add ons or upgrades, just heres the brand new car and off you go... Would use again from our experience without doubt?

Humiliating treatment, poorly educated. Two workers on Saturday 09/10/22 at 5:20 p.m., one with a beard and short hair and another young man of about 20 years old, threaten us by telling us that our vehicle is going to stay parked there...(the one with the beard) And they humiliate us by telling us who dont talk to women (the young man). I dont understand how people like that can work in front of the public. SHAMEFUL.

Rented a car via the website on the advice of my brother and his brother-in-law. Receive a confirmation by email. One day before arrival, we received a message by email that something had gone wrong with the reservation, no car and no alternative. I expressed my dissatisfaction to Eva by telephone. Received a verbal apology but no alternative for the day of arrival. Promise for car 2 days later, asked to confirm this by email. This subsequently did not happen. Confirmed the appointment by email, no response. Then additional email, telephone and WhatsApp, no response. Ultimately, I heard or saw nothing on the promised day. Of course I looked for alternatives myself, but unfortunately that is not easy, but on the 4th day I finally got a car via @planetdrive, for which thanks. All in all half a holiday not done what we wanted to do due to a very unprofessional company and unfriendly staff. I will never recommend them.

Uiteraard zelf gezocht naar alternatieven maar helaas is dat dan niet makkelijk, maar op 4e dag uiteindelijk een auto via @planetdrive, waarvoor dank. Al met al halve vakantie niet gedaan wat we wilde doen door een zeer onprofessionele bedrijf en onvriendelijk personeel. Ik zal ze nooit aanbevelen.

To avoid absolutely. We rented for years, mostly in low season which was okay. BUT heres the catch: Once you hire a car in top season : thats when everything starts going wrong. (check the months of reviews f.i. on tripadvisor and youll notice right away that summertime creates the problem) They dont have cars enough, give you whatever they have (bad old cars) and when you have a problem: count on trying to reach them for days instead of enjoying your holidays. They never ever pick up the phone, dont answer messages, mails whatsoever. And when you finally get in touch: That EVA whos supposed to manage the office, is a very very rude person. Theres only one good guy waiting for you at the airport, feel sorry for him working there :-( Anyhow, even when you are a good long term client they threat you like hell when problems appear. And Eva says right in your face : i dont care, we have enough clients. So youre all warned!

Absolutely shocking company. Wed booked a 9 seater vehicle a year ago for a family holiday. Upon arrival today we were told they didnt have a vehicle for us! Eva was the most rude and unprofessional person weve ever had the displeasure of dealing with. We were offered an alternative of 2 small vehicles - this was no good to us as we only had one driver in our party. There answer was thats not our problem ! We were told there was a possibility of them obtaining a vehicle for us on Monday but when we asked for a guarantee of this we were laughed at and their reply was of course we cant guarantee this ! After lots of extremely unprofessional behavior we thought there was no chance of them even trying to remedy our problem. There was a light at the end of the tunnel though as an extremely lovely member of staff ( who we didnt deal with at first ) offered to call a friend of hers who hires a minibus , by a stroke a luck it was available so we are now mobile and can continue to enjoy our much needed family holiday. If it wasnt for this kind lady going out of her way wed have been stuck. I do hope this lady gets the apology she deserves from Eva as once she found out what her member of staff had done she proceeded to give her an extremely vocal dressing down , screaming , shouting and pointing in her face. I would not recommend Tonys Rent a Car to anybody. Avoid at all costs.

Like it was mentioned in other reviews, its good and friendly until something goes wrong. Telephone is never picked up and emails never answered unless it involves them getting something from you. They seem to rent out too much cars and then have a different cheaper car available for the same price. They also gave me a free upgrade once but then charged a higher excess (i noticed too late). Eva from the reception is probably the most arrogant and unfriendly person ive ever spoken to in car rentals, and that means something! Also, the cars are often old and not well maintained. Ive rented more than 5 cars from them, and even as a reoccuring customer the responses i got from them when there were issues were unbelievably rude. Never again! Avoid at all costs.

Met at Malaga airport and completed paperwork. Told agent that the bill must be in Euros. No problem he said, we will input back at the office. Card statement arrives several weeks later with bill taken in pounds at a terrible exchange rate adding PS15.00 to the bill. Several emails and phone calls ignored, until I finally put a complaint in to the card company and got my money back. Not a happy experience, would not use again. car supplied was a very tired old model Nissan Micra at some 60,000 KMS. There are much better companies out there.

Very satisfied for several years. If you need brand new cars to impress anyone on vacation, you should book somewhere else. If you are looking for a set of wheels at a fair price and a landlord who is friendly and accommodating, you definitely wont go wrong.
