Marbesol Rent a Car | Car Hire Malaga Airport in Malaga

We were waiting nicely at 22:30 for the bus that would take us to Marbelsol. Unfortunately, it took more than 40 minutes for us to arrive at Marbelsol, even though the drive from the airport to Marbelsol takes only 5 minutes. After that, we had to wait about 20 more minutes before we could check in and get a car. Upon arriving at our apartment, I discovered that they charged me 35 euros more than what was previously agreed upon. Through email contact, I found out that they charged an evening rate extra (from 23:00 onwards) and the registration time was leading in this. It is strange that I arrived on time and, due to their actions, I checked in 60 minutes later, and now I have to pay an additional 35 euros. Easy money, but poor customer satisfaction. For me, it will be the last time.

Arrogant and condescending guy at check-in. Paid for a upgrade on site, big mistake. Car was basically cleaned with baby-wipes, gearbox was all over the place and basic functionality such as cruise control wasn't working. Ain't coming back and wouldn't recommend

We rented there a "C class" car for 7 days and got an almost new Seat Ibiza with 12k km of mileage. The car was quite clean inside, had wireless Android Auto and all the necessaries. The staff at rental was very nice, they handed over the car to me quite quickly, though it obviously took some time since they had to scan ID, driver's license, credit card info, etc. Returning the car is super simple (we had all inclusive full insurance option) you just drive to the 1st floor in their garage, they check fuel level and off you go to the bus to the airport :)

A good reliable service. We have used Marbesol 10 + times and always take the all inclusive insurance and have never had any issues when returning the hire car. The collection / return office is 2 minutes outside the airport, but the shuttle bus runs continuously. It is often quicker to use Marbesol rather than stand in a larger queue at the airport car hire companies. We usually hire a small vehicle and the quality has always been very good.

Great service, very cheap also for the week with no mileage limits or damage charges, they allow under 25s to rent with them also. Only complaint I have is that it's not clear enough that you need a credit card for the booking so I had to leave a deposit. The shuttle service from the airport though was brilliant, the car was very recent (2024 fabia) and clean, and the collection besides the issue with the card and drop off once we were leaving was flawless, the deposit I paid was received back 48 hours after dropping the car back, if I'm ever back in Spain I'll be using them again!

Here is how their "premium" cars look, which you get "upgraded" to, unnecessarily. The car was completely scratched, with dirty seats, worn-out windshield wipers, and warning lights that started blinking as soon as we got on the highway because they hadn't properly closed the hood. Another warning light indicated low tire pressure, and so on. Choose another company if you don't want to "rent a wreck" with equally poor service. I will never rent from them again. Ever.

Everything is excellent: online booking, rental price, transportation from the airport to Marbesol, speed of car pickup, staff. But we got an old car, a Peugeot 208 with 60 - 70,000 km. The clutch and transmission were bad and the Check in engine light came on after driving 10 km. After the call, we were told to drive on and if something happens, to call again. Our journey of 1000 km was fortunately without any problems, but you will admit that it is not pleasant to drive a car in a foreign country that can end up breaking down at any moment. Plus, the car we rented was damaged in several places.
