The staff is helpful. *Important For Drop Off* -- In Google enter only "Calle Mendivil" and nothing else. Google will then take you to that street and you will see a small Hertz sign. If you enter "Hertz" into Google or the longer address on your rental contract you will not find the car return.

Please if you see my comment before you rent a care please listen carefully, this office is scams, they lie to your face, change and hide the fault in the car just to charge you money, they refuse to go with me when I received the car, when you rent a car let the service go with you to the garage to see the car status but better not rent a car from them.. they are just frauds.... Dont make my mistake and not listening to the comments. The car I left as you see full clean and have nothing to claim about, even though they charged me 330 EUR

I decided to work with Hertz because it is an international company, but unfortunately, I was clearly cheated by one of your employees. He undoubtedly lied to me outright. He made me sign documents in Spanish, even though I neither speak nor read Spanish. He told me that he would hold 1200 euros on the card and that the insurance would be 500 euros. In the end, I was charged 1100 euros for insurance on a car I rented for 500 euros. This is clearly theft. I was treated poorly by your employees over the phone, and no one is willing to help. You have a very good management process but very poor decision-makers.

Poor signage of where to pick up and drop cars. Car was fine. Collect enough evidence before and after rental - dash pics, copies of fuel receipts, pics of the car - because you are likely to be overcharged and need to dispute at this branch only. We were overcharged for fuel despite filling the tank before returning and providing paper receipts

RUN AWAY! this office closed 2 hours before official time, and thus I wasn't able to have my car. The way they treat their customer is a nightmare! No one can help you, and if they provided me with a smaller car for a week, at the airport station, they have applied the full price. Do you believe that??? I don't! It's a shame, but guess what? it's a US company, so I am not quite surprised. I WILL NEVER BOOK AT HERTZ ANYMORE. There customer relationship is just unacceptable.

5 stars are not enough!! Ich empfehle ganz herzlich Hertz Malaga Bahnhof !! We booked via ADAC a car for a day trip towards Marbella, and look what Hertz gave us, a full options brand new E Class. The check-in was fast, and the return was very easy. Be careful when coming back to type in Google Maps: "Six Return P -2". I am very impressed by the whole experience and will surely book with Hertz again!

Well my personal experience with Hertz - Malaga Maria Zambrano Railway Station was great. I took a car for 2 weeks, then I prolonged it without any problem simply by phone and got the discount. Totally Fiat 500 was cost me for one month EUR568 including insurance, without insurance the price could be EUR357, but you know in that case I doubt the return will be without any arguments. Anyway I never dealt with any rental which has absolutely positive ratings but this time everything was really fine.

Warning to anyone thinking of renting a car here! Listen carefully before booking. This place is dishonest - they lie to you, hide the damage to the car and try to scam you out of money. They refused to come with me to pick up the car, and then accused me of damage that was already there. When renting, insist that someone from the company go with you to check the condition of the car, but ideally, avoid renting here. They are pure frauds! I returned the car in perfect condition and yet they charged me 300.

We went there (therefore NOT online) to ask for information and book a car, the sales assistant was very kind and they reserved a Renault Clio for us that was well maintained, albeit with a few scratches, and clean. They sent us an email with all the photos of the scratches already present on the car at the time of collection. We were very happy with the service and the car. The cost, in August, was around 90 per day, with a possible supplement of around 25 if you want to return the car directly to the airport. Both collection and delivery were very simple. At the moment, a week after delivery, I have not received any requests for money for damages that we did not do, and I hope that the situation remains that way...

Ci hanno inviato una e-mail con tutte le foto dei graffi gia presenti sulla macchina al momento del ritiro. Ci siamo trovati molto bene con il servizio e con la macchina. Il costo, ad agosto, e stato di circa 90 al giorno, con possibile supplemento di 25 circa se volete riconsegnare la macchina direttamente in aeroporto. Herz did this to me for 4 hours, he took 276 euros in Malaga, there was no petrol when I picked up the vehicle, they gave me the money back after 5 days, while they had already taken 918 euros from my account. Never again this company in my life. very rude and then they didnt do what they said the car was picked up at the airport and taken to the herz still in Malaga a few kilometers, they behaved badly. We rented a car at Maria Zambranos Hertz office. That same afternoon the battery ran out for no apparent reason and we called Technical Assistance, which is supposed to be 24 hours a day, and no one answered the phone. Very bad experience returning the car. There appeared to be damage. Luckily we had taken pictures upon pick up. And it turns out that the damage was already done. So 450,- was wrongly taken from my account. Complaint filed. Promise response within 10 days. Nada, nothing and a bad taste in my mouth and feeling of being ripped off.

complete joke these guys dinged me 40 euro 8 months later from an automatic ticket from some random camera in malaga which got me driving on a side road which was a closed road then they charged 40 euro for providing a name to the authorities this late. full on money grab everything is in the system and automatic there is 0 reason to justify 40 euro charge. I will never use hertz as a company again.

The two employees I met (one male and one female) were very friendly, but some of them barely spoke English, so there is a possibility that you might hear explanations in Spanish. I received a free upgrade to a larger vehicle, and because it was a newer vehicle, it was equipped with a navigation system, so I compared it with Google Maps to find the route and drove. FYI, 1) Fill up the tank with fuel at a nearby gas station and return it. I used the nearest one, Estacion de Servicio Madese - Repsol. When you arrive at the gas station, you can immediately refuel yourself (dont call the employee) and then go inside the convenience store to pay. Unlike Korea, there is no sensor on the gas pump, so you have to visually check if the oil is overflowing, so be careful not to splash oil on your clothes when refueling. 2) There were many reviews saying that the parking lot entrance was confusing when returning the car, but the pin in the photo attached below is the parking lot entrance. Since it is a one-way street anyway, you can just take a picture of any restaurant on that street. The parking lot entrance is very narrow, so please be careful when driving. 3) Hertz return location is near line 4 on the 2nd basement level of the parking lot. If you go down to the second basement level and go almost to the deepest line, you will see a yellow sign. Park your car and go up to the office to return the key. If you return the vehicle without filling it with fuel, you will be assessed a penalty.

I was told by my insurance company that I could hire a car from Hertz, It was pre booked it for me, whilst my car was in for repair. Although my licence was with trafico. An English licence thats being exchanged for a Spanish one, due to brexit. I had an authorisation document from trafico allowing me to drive legally in Spain until I received my new card Driving Licence. However, Hertz would not accept this document. Having been on a bus for almost an hour to get there, it was extremely frustrating and annoying. Yet, after going next door to Avis rent a car, they were very helpful and told me this document was perfectly legal and bent over backwards to help me. Within 20 minutes, I had a car. So people, if you are in the same situation, you know what to do. Please bear in mind that some other car rental companies do not accept this document also.

Deplorable management of this company in the office of the Maria Zambrano AVE station. It allows you to reserve a car to pick it up at 6:00 p.m. on Saturday. You arrive about ten minutes early and there is no one in the office, everything is turned off and locked tight, on the door there is a sign with the hours and it says very clearly: SATURDAYS FROM 9:00 A.M. TO 8:30 P.M. No one notifies you by email or phone to inform you why it is closed. Thanks to some car rental workers from another nearby company who informed us that we could pick up the car at the office at the airport. Its a shame to have reserved a car at the Ave station and have to go pick it up at the airport because of these unpresentable people who dont even respect their own schedules.
