Debbie is amazing, she is very helpful, kind and made the whole process of returning the car a breeze! We were very happy with our Cupra, it was comfy and had all the amenities we were looking for in a car. Car was clean and in a great state. However, I do have two things to add about our pickup experience in Madrid: 1. Nobody explained us how to use basic functionalities of the car (turn the engine on and off, parking brake, turning lights, changing in reverse) and these are a bit different for every car. We were in a couple of stressful situations because last minute we didn't know how to use them and were very careful not to damage the car. 2. The lady at our car pickup was extremely nice, however we ordered a Compact Elite car, expecting narrow garages in Spain, and then received a Cupra SUV. We know it's a great car and they probably considered it as an upgrade, but we for a specific reason wanted a more narrow car. This way, we had a lot of stress everytime we were choosing where to park because we did not want to put the car in danger.
We rented a car from Enterprise, and everything initially went well. However, when returning the car, they withheld EUR192 from our deposit. When we asked why, they claimed that, according to the contract, we had requested insurance when picking up the car. However, we never did! The contract you have to sign is entirely in Spanish, which makes it difficult to fully understand what it says. So, be extra careful about what you sign! We have requested a full refund of our deposit but have yet to receive any response. Be cautious and always double-check what you sign!
My flight was delayed due to circumstances beyond my control, and I had no internet access to inform the company of my delay. Upon arrival, I was met by an employee with a harsh tone who informed me that there were no other rental cars available and he didn't know when they might be. Another, more courteous employee offered me a car for a rate of 50 euros per day. I had to agree to the offer, but when it came time to pay, the rude employee increased the price to 70 euros per day as if he didn't want to rent to me--I don't understand why. After a long argument, they agreed to lower the price back to 50 euros! I am disappointed with this company. I've dealt with many other rental companies that respect their customers and offer alternatives, even if the fault lies with the customer, and without exploitation. I will not repeat my experience with you, thank you.
I reserved a full size SUV 1 month ago for pickup today. When I arrived to pick up the vehicle, the only vehicle they had was a crappy, run down minivan. I went from expecting to drive a nice Volvo XC-40 to driving a horrible, run down Seat Alhambra! I would not recommend this rental company, or ever use their services again. Renter beware!! Update: I responded per their request 5 days ago and have not heard back. My guess is that as the rental is being returned today, they don't need to do anything. Clearly they don't care about their customers or service. STAY AWAY!!!
Amazing service, speedy, and attentive. Yusuf was absolutely the best, going the extra mile to help us out to not miss our flight! Cannot recommend enough!! Thank you so much! The car return is just outside the airport on the road leading to it. We had a bit of a hard time finding the place (since I changed the return location I did not have the full address) and using google maps was not very easy. We got to the return office late to catch a flight, and very stressed- Yusuf was there to help us out with everything and calm us down! He took us to the airport in person to make sure we are not too late. He is truly amazing and we cannot thank him enough!
Car broke down 3.5 hours ago. After 2 visits from roadside assistance they have taken the car away after identifying an alternator fault, but have told me I need to travel for an hour to collect a replacement - which will be fun now that I don't have a car. Been waiting for an hour and a half for a call back to explain how this will be resolved. Airport branch will not pick up the phone and their call center is not able to do anything at all and have now hung up after waiting for 30minutes.
Very bad service and one of the worst branch Managers. I rented a volvo 90c or similar like 4 months ago and When i reached they offered me a smaller less lexury car while my car is supposed to be a lexury SUV then the manager Marcos Vaskis offered me a Mercedes Van or a Range Rover Evoke or a Hyundai Soranto which was missing the logo I refused all those options as they were a downgrade he became rude and asked me to either take it or cancel my reservation and go somewhere else In this short time period how could I do that and he didn't even offered me a compensation or and any other help and his words to me exactly where you standing here it won't change any fact take it or leave it. Unfortunately since I was with my family I had to take a car so I accepted the Hyundai and that even wasn't ready they had to take it for a car wash and clean it we had to wait almost an hour till it was finally ready. Not even an apology from Mr. Marco Vaskis I just wonder how could an international reputable company such as Enterprise hire such staff and have such a very very bad customer service one pf the worst experiences I have ever had with a rental company and all Thanks to Mr. Marcos Vaskis
