We rented from ClickRent in Madrid at the Atocha train station and had Gustavo as the company representative. He explained everything in detail, insurance, damage, etc. Checking out took about 20 minutes and Gustavo made sure we understood everything (he also speaks very good English). Returning the car took about 5 minutes and a quick signature. All in all a good experience and we would rent from ClickRent again.

DO NOT Rent a Car Here! Seems cheap right? Indeed it is but be ready for their game. Absolutely horrible customer service. So, I admit I made a mistake and didn't get an international driving permit BUT when asked for assistance, the lady replied that I must know the law in Spain. Wondering how many foreign laws they know. Anyway, requested at least a partial refund as I didn't use any car and prepaid everything online but I had a choice not to. So, NO REFUND as there are fine prints. All in all, if you are from the US, use enterprise, avis, hertz. They at least have customer service to help.

We rented 2 cars in Malaga at the beginning of October. The first car was taken over without any problems, although it was already noticeable that they were trying to get you additional insurance. With the second car we were treated very dubiously. Unfortunately, I had forgotten my PIN (for various reasons) for my credit card. My request to charge my husbands credit card (he had previously rented a car) was only agreed to with additional insurance, registration as a second driver (involving additional costs) and an increased deposit. Sorry, but such impossible behavior...if we hadnt had 3 tired children on hand, we would have looked for another rental. No recommendation, NEVER AGAIN!

Meiner Bitte, die Kreditkarte meines Mannes mit zu belasten (dieser hat zuvor ein Auto angemietet), wurde nur unter Bezahlung einer Zusatzversicherung, Eintrag als 2. Fahrer (mit Zusatzkosten verbunden) und erhohter Kaution zugestimmt. Sorry, aber so ein unmogliches Verhalten...wenn wir nicht 3 mude Kinder an der Hand gehabt hatten, hatten wir eine andere Vermietung aufgesucht. Keine Weiterempfehlung, NIE WIEDER!

After writing this review a ClickRent representative responded, as you can see below, and asked me to write them an email. I did and I have sent them six since then and they have not responded, so the review for these thieves remains as is: ClickRent is a shame. The car was perfect according to them and when I picked it up I saw that it was full of scratches. I took photos of everything and when I returned it and showed them the photos, there were three millimeters of something that looked like glue on one tire so imperceptible that even though I took a photo of the tire, it couldnt be seen and they charged me 240 euros. For a two-day rental from Malaga to Marbella when the rental cost 60. They sent me the attached photo as proof. Does anyone see any damage there? Because I dont. They are scammers. Never, never again. Be very careful with these people.

El coche estaba perfecto segun ellos y cuando lo recogi vi que estaba lleno de aranazos. Hice fotos de todo y cuando lo devolvi y les ensene las fotos habia tres milimetros en una llanta de algo que parecia pegamento tan imperceptible que aunque le hice una foto a la llanta no se aprecia y me cobraron 240 euros. Por un alquiler de dos dias de Malaga a Marbella cuando el alquiler costo 60. Me mandaron la foto adjunta como prueba. Alguien ve algun dano ahi? Porque yo no. Son unos estafadores. Nunca, nunca mas. Muchisimo cuidado con esta gente.

The worst car rental Ive found in Andalucia! I have rented cars all over Andalucia and for very long periods without anything happening. Here for a 2 day rental (1 night in the garage at home), they made up an unreported scratch and took 260 from my credit card. Its true that they tell you to check the car when you pick it up, but its a shame that the garage is underground and dark and its not at all easy to see small marks on dark and metallic bodywork. Who knows how many others have rented the same car and emptied their credit card with the same unreported scratch. Unfortunately it looks a lot like a way to cheat you. Stay away from clickrent!
