Avoid this company!!!! ** Update: it's been 5 weeks since I've sent them an email (before this review was published) they don't bother to answer. I recently rented a car from Centauro Malaga and was extremely dissatisfied with the customer service and the condition of the vehicle. Despite multiple attempts, I was unable to reach customer service by phone. When I picked up the car, it was clear that there was a serious engine problem. The employee, Pablo, seemed unconcerned and insisted the car was fine. We had to go out to the road in rush hour while the car is clearly not driving well. Than we came back again to the underground parking unpacking all our luggage of 5 people (3 kids) and on top of all It took significant persistence to Pbalo that after long wait, finally agree for a replacement. Than we were asked to drive to another branch (Airport) to exchange it again. Unpacking and packing again. Despite the inconvenience, there was no apology or compensation offered. The entire process took up a frustrating four hours of my time. I would strongly recommend avoiding this rental location due to their poor customer service and lack of concern for customer satisfaction.

By far my smoothest car rental experience. Would highly recommend Centauro. I booked directly on their website and had all the details accessible really easily. Pick up was really easy as I signed contract etc online. I paid deposit for fuel but received it back the very next day as I returned the tank full. No issues at all!

Would rent here again. Good service and polite staff that gives some tips and tricks. I did make reservation however did receive different car that was from better group for same price. So thats mega. They do take deposit for fuel. But its also fine since you get it back quickly when rental period is done. Just dont forget to return full since they will charge by % missing in tank and not how much actually fuel is missing. So just take full, return full.

Super nice experience!!! The staff was very friendly and the paper work was limited, so it took around 10 minutes to get it done. The car I got was super new, clean and well equipped (including android auto). I got all the refunds (deposit and fuel) in one day!

They have been very kind and upgraded our pre-selected car at no cost. We needed some more indication inside the station to more easily find the office, which is located outside of it. The explanations of where the vehicle was to pick it up and return it were all very well explained.

For me the best car rental company I have ever rented a car from. Booking was quick and easy via the website. The service on site was outstanding. The car was very clean and had minor damage on the outside. However, no problem thanks to fully comprehensive insurance. A deposit of 85 will be taken on site for filling the tank, which will be refunded if you return the car with a full tank. No hidden costs and unnecessary additional insurance - unfortunately you cant find that anymore, especially abroad. At Centauro, however, everything is transparent and simple. We will definitely rent here again!

Das Auto war sehr sauber und hatte aussen leichte Schaden. Dank Vollkasko allerdings kein Problem. Vor Ort werden 85 Kaution fur die Tankfullung genommen, die erstattet werden, wenn man das Auto mit vollem Tank zuruckbringt. Keine versteckten Kosten und unnotige Zusatzversicherungen - sowas findet man leider gerade im Ausland nicht mehr. Bei Centauro ist allerdings alles transparent und einfach. Wir mieten hier definitiv wieder!

Centauro are scammers, do not rent a car with them under any circumstances. They charged me 270 for damages that were already there when I picked up the car (As I have shown them with the video I took at the pick-up) Centaure support was particularly mediocre: I first contacted them on 20/08/2024 and their FIRST response was on 15/10/2024 so that s almost 2 months for support to actually take effect. After that, I tried showing them evidence that the car was already damaged at pick-up but the only way I can contact them is via e-mail and they told me on 08/11/2024 (4 weeks later) the video attachment I sent them did not have a good enough quality for them. Here are my question for you centauro: 1) Is 2 months an acceptable response time for a simple damage report? 2) how I am supposed to sent you a video with good enough quality if your only mean of communication is e-mail? 3) Why do you keep telling me that the issue is solved when it is clearly not How much money are you taking from inadvertant customers? I took excellent care of your car and you punish me for damages that were already there. I cant take this company anymore. They gave me a car that does not meet safety requirements: completely worn tires, without proper maintenance.
