Avis in Malaga

Great Avis location. We used it twice and both times we had incredible customer service with friendly and helpful staff. The location itself is convenient, and the rental car was new and clean. The fact you could drop the car after hours was also a plus. Definitely one of the best Avis locations we have used in Europe.

Great service that saved our day. The employee Javier Santo really saved our day and was super helpful and professional and made our trip at ease. The whole team that was there (Javier Foureira as well as the woman who is their manager) were very sweet and thanks to their attitude and professionalism our whole rent a car process went at ease. They explained everything to us in detail and were available to resolve any doubts we had. I would highly recommend choosing this company and these people to help you with the process as it will make your trip and money worth it! Also, fiat cabrio is a big suggestion for the summer days in Malaga!

They over charged me by 45 euro. They had explained to me that it wouldn't be more then 78 euro and then few days later it end up being 116 euro for 8 hours of rental.

Friendly service, but a long waiting time at the office (almost an hour) despite having booked the car in advance. The adress found in the booking confirmation and Google Maps is also wrong, the office is actually inside the train station and not on Calle Mendivil 2.

A complete scam. I dropped off my car overnight in the garage and left the keys without any issues. A few weeks later they send me an invoice for damage that didn't occur. Then a few more weeks later I get another invoice for some random charges. I don't even know what this second set of charges is! Highly recommend not renting from here or the train station location and dropping off here. I picked up there and dropped off at the airport. Insanely terrible scam artists

Very poor experience after rental, a major charge is being claimed by Budget for damages we did not cause. No personal checks at car hand-over, no explanation that we should make detailed and good quality photos of the car (in a dimly lit garage) at pick-up and drop.

Due to a change in our itinerary, we decided to rent a car for day trip to Ronda. This last minute decision had us heading to the train station in search of car rental agencies in the city of Malaga. There were 5 rental companies to choose from but we found Avis to be the one that best fitted our budget and needs. The staff was very helpful and explained everything in detail. We had no problem finding and picking up the car as well as returning it.
