Autos Remo SL in Malaga

Very friendly reception and helpful staff. We had to return the car earlier than planned and when the staff was temporarily away from the store, and they solved this very professionally for us with clear and easy communication over the phone in English. Will try to use Autos Remo again if I need to rent a car in Malaga.

It was a good experience. The staff was very kind and helped us a lot. They offered us a discount for the car and the paperwork was done smoothly. They kept a 250 euro deposit which was given to us back when we returned the car. There were no problems with the car, although it was in a pretty bad shape. They also helped us with the transport from their car showroom to the bus station.

Our prearranged rental car with another car rental company did not show up and we were desperate so we went to Rubens and rented a car with this company instead because we needed to drive to the Alhambra. Rubens charged 20E for arranging it. We paid Autos Remo 111E for 4 days and they delivered the car to Benalmadena marina. The car was very old with over 180,000 km on the odometer and no heater. We needed to put on the AC every 2 minutes just to keep the windshield clear enough to see through. We froze. The clutch was at the end of its life and the windshield wipers were useless. It was raining and the worst ride of our life. We honestly didn't think the car would make it there and back but it did and it even made it to La Linea too the next day. No extra charges and delivery and pickup were on time so all's well that ends well.

Used back in 2019, only reviewing now as I wanted to pre book for my next trip and was curious to see if they are still trading. Had a fantastic service, new, clean and safe car. Honest staff and no extra sales. Everything included, bar fuel of course. Will be reserving a car for my trip in March next year!!

They were recommended to me and I always use this company as they are great to deal with. You pay one price and it covers everything. Not like at the airport where they extract extra money from you and give you stress just when you have arrived on your holiday. Try them. They meet and drop off at the airport and have an office in La Carihuela, Torremolios.
