Opted for the meet and greet service. Representitive was outside the terminal building ready waiting for us. A quick signature and we were on our way. The car was what I asked for, very clean both in and out no dents or marks.I believe it was a new model. Very fast and efficient service no hassle for any extra payments, what you pay online is the price. I would definitely use Poppy Cars again. Poppy cars are brilliant!!! This was the most hassle free booking , pick up and drop off we have experienced, and we have hired a few! Easy to book, pick up quick, representative great. I was so happy to find this local company to hire my car. They had great reviews. I elected the self service option. I was delighted with the car, immaculately clean and the addition of a sun brolly was a lovely touch. The USB plug in for my phone for Google maps was brilliant. Their communication via email and Whats App is very friendly. My only minor criticism is I received instructions as if I was being met by the Poppy rep, and then later I got instructions for self service. So that was confusing. I also chose them because it said you didn't need to fill the car up on return, then it said you did and I misread this second instruction. Overall I would definitely use them again. Excellent service from start to finish. Ordering the car online and email contact was great. The rep was there to meet us straight from the flight and was friendly and helpful which made things very smooth on arrival. Fully comprehensive insurance so no hidden extras. Felt in very safe hands. Drop off back at the airport was just as easy with us just replacing the fuel we had used through the week. I would highly recommend this car hire company.
Have used Poppy Cars for many years. The price they quote is what you pay. No trying to sell you more insurance when you arrive. From exiting the airport to driving off in less than 5 minutes. Drop off is very easy too. It's just a 2 minute walk from the airport to the car. Couldn't be easier and will use them again as we have done the last 5 x times.
IMPORTANT - As a first time driver of a hire car the process was so straight forward. From booking to collection to dropping off. Clear one to one instructions on arrival. BUT here is where Poppycars were exceptional. Someone scraped the side of the car and we were concerned about any hidden excess we hadn't read about. When I called them they asked if we were ok and is the car still ok to drive. I said yes and they said just whatsapp the damage and write a description of what happened. Job done.... NO HIDDEN EXCESS. We will definitely use them again. Thank you Poppycars.
