Good prices, no hidden fees, quick and reliable support services. Strongly recommended based on our experience!
They charged me unexpected fees after I gave back the car without my consent. The car had no Bluetooth and they give no cable to let me connect my phone to car. So i could only listen to radio. Service is terrible and they were not helpful at all. Terrible company!
Everything went smoothly! Great communication and info beforehand. Drop off went super fast and easy. Will only rent here in the future
Rented a car for 10+ times across Europe, i have faced a fee scams/bad experiencess and so I have become very pessimistic and cautious towards the whole industry. With a family (spouse + 3Y and 5Y boys), for me its not about the price that much, instead its about safety of the car and smooth interaction both when renting&picking the car and when returning it. I absolutely hate huzzling and being cheated when renting a car. During my stay in Magaluf, Mallorca for the days of 20.6-23.6 renting a car from Torrenova-Rent-Car, everything worked like a charm: I rented on spot (possible since not yet a peak season) so that i was able to visit the branch, discuss about full cover/zero liability insurance and see the child seats. Rent was 60EUR a day + 2x5EUR for two child seats a day + 8EUR a day for full insurance, covering everything vut loss/damage of the key of destruction of the wheels (e.g if you would keep on driving with flat tire). NO BALANCE COVER from my credit card was made, neither did i pay any cash deposit for the rental period, only 50EUR reservation amount day before the rental (i visited them one day in advance) which then was deducted from the amount i paid when picked up the car. I had class C, Opel Corsa which was quite new with only a few small scratches. Officer told me that there was no need to check the body of the car since I took full insurance and that section in my agreement was wiped out (i still did video the car body which proved to be useless, but its a habbit i will keep on doing). Car seats for kids (my boys are 104cm / 17kg) were face forward with some adaptor looking like as if they were isofix-adabtive but they were connected and tied up with seat-belt). Not as good as the ones we use at home, Finland but looked sufficient enough for our trip. Everything went fine and returning of the car (tank was 1/2 full which was marked to agreement and i returned car with tank more or less the same) was super quick. Overal rental experience was just perfect and the person with appropriate English i did make the agreement with, made me feeling relaxed and not being affraid of getting scammed. We had even a discussion about this common pattern with international rental companies where you either take a full insurance or a scratch is found from the car after returning it (does not matter which company you use based on my experience). So to summarize: not saying this is chepaest option, but surely its convenient and trustworthy when you take a full insurance which was only small add-on to basic price. I would use this and only this company if i ever return to Mallorca, although i bet there are some other good ones out there as well. And also i start to think about focusing on usage of local small companies instead of international brands. And if i am not traveling on high season, i prefer to book it on spot so that i can ask the questions before committing to anything. Finally: i would kever rent a car without full insurance and very tiny to zero euro deductible, its so much relaxing and you can focus on enjoying the holiday instead of being worried about scratches or getting scammed
We rented a car for 1 day. We received an old worn-out Opel Corsa with 107,000 km. 88 eur is not a small money, unfortunately, this is what the hotel called us. After 80 km, the cooling water boiled, I don't think this old car has been serviced recently, and it certainly wasn't the first time it broke down, but they thought maybe not now and issued it again. It was a bad day, they also felt the responsibility and said that I would get another day for free, but we couldn't do it anymore because we had other programs, I said that they would return at least half of the rent, but there was no answer, so I was very disappointed. I will not be a returning guest and I will not recommend it to anyone.
We rented Opel Corsa for three days and drove around the island 500km. The car was old but it does the trick. It's powerfull enough to drive in mountains and motorways and it is simple to handle. The full insurance is mandatory as the car has small scratches/dents everywhere. Thank you for the Torrenova people to help us spend a great holiday in Mallorca!
the company responds quickly to messages, picks you up at the hotel to take you to the agency, and on the way back drops you off at the hotel. The problem is the price communicated by email, when I arrived we were alone, we waited a long time outside they asked us to go out to wait outside, nobody understands English, French, I speak a little Spanish they say not to understand me. it is a means used in many agencies to manipulate the transaction, if you refuse to pay the insurance and additional costs: no car. when i returned the car i said hello, the woman said "you wait here" taking the key from us, we are not stupid but be polite, when she dropped us off at the hotel she took us not speak when we talked about Palma. We will rent elsewhere next time
These guys are car professionals. Quick and easy. Took Nissan Micra for 3 days + Mini for 1 day. Even though Mini was the old generation model, it was still a pleasure to drive in it. I recommend them. Also recommend to take full insurance. It's a small cost to pay to avoid headache and save time on check-up etc, in my opinion.
