The worst car rental company in Spain. I always go to other companies, but this time I gave them a try, and we were extremely disappointed. They are big Scammers! After you return the car, they keep charging your credit card for several fees to report your information to the city for the parking tickets. Why would you charge people so many fees to give the car rental information to the city for parking tickets? No other company does that. We will never again rent a car from you!
"I recently rented a car from Sixt in Madrid and returned it in Malaga. The experience was very positive overall. The car met all my specifications, was clean, and in excellent condition. The customer service was very good both at the pick-up location in Madrid and during the drop-off in Malaga. I am currently waiting for the deposit refund, and I hope it will be returned without delays, as I haven't faced any issues so far. It's been two days since the return, and I expect the deposit to be processed soon. Overall, I'm very satisfied with the service provided."
the worst rental company in Spain!! , they are scammers you will never get the car that you paid for. we rented a premium electric car and the website indicated a battery reserve of 590 km . at the airport, we were given a BMW with a margin of half as much . To our dissatisfaction, they offered to lower the category by paying twice as much . they also write off money more than stated . we have not seen a worse company avoid them if you do not want to spoil your planned vacation and get long conversations and persuasion to give you a paid car, which in the end you will not receive and will be forced to take what they give
Open at 07:30 in the morning and the staff there is very nice and friendly. Very smooth process to rent a car and do not need to wait in line. Unfortunately the tire is punctured, and luckily the car has full insurance. And we just return the car and left. Very good experience.
I came to your location to rent the car I had reserved a week ago. The receptionist told me that I couldn't rent a car because I didn't have an international driver's license, which I encountered for the first time. I had previously rented a car in Spain with the same license. I immediately left and went to the Europcar rental company. Within 5 minutes, they gave me a better car at a better price, and without the ridiculous license you were asking for. I want to thank the person at the reception for not giving me the car. Hope to never see you again.
First time renting from SIXT, here in Madrid. Made the reservation thru the hotel and came to pick up the vehicle at Atocha train station location in Madrid. I commend Andres, at the check-in, and Alfaro, at the return. Andres went out of his way to file a report with the city for my lost cellphone which was later found. When we came to return the vehicle, Google maps directed to another SIXT location, close-by but not the original one. Alvaro changed the drop-off locations and received the vehicle. We had an incredible time in Avila, Spain but your employees went far and beyond the call. Oh by the way, let Andres know that we had the steak in Avila and it was everything he had recommended to us!! Thanks!! Pedro Ortiz
Adriano (Adrian) was the best sales agent at any car service I have ever met. I enjoyed Sixt service and his warm and professional attitude was a big reason for that.
Great staff, very friendly service. No upcharges, no annoying upsales. Pickup and dropoff only took a few minutes and there weren't any queues during our pickup time. The only drawback is that their garage is really tight (which is pretty normal in European cities) so you need to be very good with your car dimensions, but the garage staff are helping to park if it's too hard. By renting the cheapest automatic car on the website, I got a very new C4 with adaptive cruise, climate, carplay and a very pleasant mpg! Great branch, would 100% rent again!
