SIXT - Madrid Nuevos Ministerios in Madrid

I do not recommend this company! I had the worst experience out of all the big companies. I rented a car for a long period of time but due to personal circumstances I had to end the rental early. The first thing that shocked me was that I received documents on e-mail that I returned the car and everything is ok, but when the original booking period was coming to an end I started to receive calls and letters that I have to return the car. This company is still trying to charge my card for unused time. No one is helping me to stop this! Then for some unknown reason They refunded me my first payment (but wrote that it was reversed by the bank) and gave my case to the debt collectors even though I had not received any money at that time. Many days later I received that money and gave it right back to them. This is terrible! The customer support is absolutely useless and does not respond to my complaints. Avoid this company! If you have problems, no one will help you!

The check in and out time was very quick. The vehicle was in a very good shape and the staff were very kind and helpful. I highly recommend this place

Misleading price on the website I had really high hopes for Sixt quality of service, but later I was shocked. Let's start with the fact that since February 2024 I have been using car rental at the Madrid Nuevos Ministerios office (Madrid) I booked 4 cars for a period up to 32 days each, and after 2 months, additional money was deducted from me for 3 rentals (not fines, not exceeding the mileage limit, not an accident) without any explanation! I always booked all 3 cars with the additional driver function and insurance (SMART), I did not ask for or include anything else besides these services. The Price that was indicated on the website for TOTAL PERIOD (I have all the screenshots and I shared them with the customer service) and later was CONFIRMED by the employees of the Madrid Nuevos Ministerios office, yet none of the employees informed me that several months later there would be a recalculation of the full bill of my rentals and the amount could increase!!! Customer service later told me that the initial price was only for 28 days and for extra days they charge later. But why the Price on the website indicates total for the whole period? Seems like a mistake on the website? And why I am responsible for that? If I had known that they would charge me an additional 585 EUROS for 3 cars, I would not have used this offer! I believe this is a deception and misleading on the part of the company, employees, and support service! I have been trying to get a response to my inquiry for 3 weeks, receiving only complete disregard of the situation and silly responses via email! I was planning to continue use Sixt, but now I will switch to another company with transparent approach to pricing and better quality of service for loyal clients.

Diego was helpful to get us a car rental. Everything is straight forward. They're very clear with everything so nothing shady. A bit expensive but it was worth it.

This is one of the best places to rent a nice car quick, cost efficient and with no bullshxx. I loved the experience. Inaki is the nicest most professional guy I have ever met in the industry. Thanks a lot guys, keep it up!

Super friendly staff at the vehicle handover, great service. The on-site representative gave me an upgrade without me requesting it, which is highly appreciated. Got to drive a brand new Mercedes for a couple of days, will come again!

I have, for some time, made Sixt Nuevos Ministerios my preferred rental car place I. Madrid. The cars are in perfect condition, the service impeccable and the prices reasonable. There are no hidden charges and I find the cost of full insurance coverage fare and competitive. I will be back again.
