We travelled to Madrid from Scotland and hired from Samocar. The service, price and car were all excellent. The office is just a short journey from the airport. No hidden fees unlike many other companies. I would have no hesitation in renting again from Samocar and even if not renting a car would drop in to say hello to the friends we made at Samocar.

The best rental company in Spain. After really poor experience with #enterprise car rental at the airport in Madrid 3 years ago, I was looking for a smaller business where you can talk to a person and who would treat you in a friendly manner. I spent good few hours looking up on internet, reading reviews and finally found Samocar. Nothing was a problem there! We were welcomed by Maria who speaks English and helped with paperwork. I even got her number in case anything happens. We got a brand new car for a very reasonable price. On the very last day of our trip Maria got in touch with me to ask if everything was ok. What a great customer service. Thank you Samocar, I will be back:)

Super friendly and no nonsense professionals with modern fleet of vehicles, including top notch vans. 10 min cab drive from Madrid airport and 20 min metro ride from airport. Prices are good too but most importantly, no hidden fees or silly insurances extras as the usual rental companies try to force-feed people with. They also have a strict Covid-19 protocol which brings an extra layer of confidence.

They really are the best of the best. I was late to rent the car and I still called them and they waited for me to arrive. Not only are they waiting for me but they also went to pick us up at the subway station. On the day of delivery I was late again and they were very kind and without any problem they waited for us, they reimbursed us for the insurance and in the process they took us to the subway station. I found Samocar by chance while looking at the area on Google Maps, I found it curious to find a rental car in this area and the good reviews caught my attention even more. In the last 2 years I have rented cars frequently and I have already experienced the disadvantages of many of these companies such as non-personalized treatment, confusion with the availability of vehicles, high deposit charges, etc. I decided to try Samocar and the experience was very good, starting with a very cordial treatment from its collaborators, a lot of transparency with the collection and deposit (no additional surprise amounts), and a super fast vehicle delivery and return process. Totally recommended.
