Absolutely disgusting behaviour from the customer representatives they immediately were not friendly and started giving passive aggressiveness and attitude on top of that, they gave a scam alternative of two situations were one you had to either pay EUR1200 as a deposit which ultimately meant they could charge you whatever they wanted based off any "accident" or you had to pay EUR200 upfront + an additional 100 deposit for whatever reason - basically, giving you no option before you already rented the car but to pay either of the two options. I really hope that the Management and the customer service here are fulfilled with their lives and are OK with scamming people because it is utterly disgusting and I warn any tourists or anyone reserving cars here to stay away. To the customer service reps - hope your family and kids are proud of you.
Avoid if you can. Had to wait 20 minutes for the bus from the terminal. We waited almost an hour to collect the car and at times there was no one manning the desks. From us arriving to drop off and reaching the terminal was another hour. There was no way to see the details of our booking online and we never had a receipt, only a booking number. Overhearing others conversations, expect to be scammed into upgrades and insurance you don't need
There is a free shuttle from the airport to OK Mobility. Checking in was a bit of a hassle as there were 4-5 people ahead of me when I got there. There were 4 people behind counters, but only two were helping people check in. Those 4-5 people ahead of me took 45 minutes of wait time. Dropping off was a breeze, leave the car, talk to an attendant and go, less than 5 minutes. The car was reasonably priced, clean and in good condition. Note that most rental cars in Spain are manual transmission. Spain does drive on the right side of the road.
Really great choice for a vehicle rental in Madrid. We rented a 125cc Sym scooter, which easily gets you around all across Madrid. Ok Mobility has a shuttle that takes your from "Bus Hotel" station from the airport to their office 7 minutes away outside the airport, and from there you pick up your vehicle. Great vehicle, great price, great company, highly recommend it!
I was apprehensive about renting from OK b/c of the reviews, but I had an excellent experience. The thing is, you have to know what you are paying for, its a discounted rental service in most cases, but as with all rental cars you need to buy the rental car insurance, if you do this your experience will be flawless, and also make sure you have a credit card at check in. When I picked up my car, it was a busy day, but after a 20 minute wait I was greeted by a SUPER friendly staff who gave me an upgrade to a higher car level when I asked to purchase the full insurance. On the day of drop off I accidentally let my son take the bag that had the keys to the car and he couldn't bring me the keys until later and I called to let OK know I would be a few hours late, they were so understanding and waived all the late fees. I will absolutely use them again. The only other advice I have is that the Madrid Airport location is off airport, you have to go to where the hotel shuttles are and catch a shuttle to the OK mobility site, so just keep that in mind. Thanks so much to the man (Alex?) who was helping me both times! He is the best!
This office is a scum. Two months ago I had the worst experience ever with a rental car. They denied to give me the car coming up with excuses about the validity of my Italian license, but then they tried to offer me a different and more expensive car to be rented with my wife's license. I refused to accept this scum and had to go back to the airport and rent a car last minute from another company. It was getting very late and I had to rent what was left, an undersized car, arriving at my destination with 5 hours of delay and great discomfort. I want to emphasise that is a problem of the management of this specific office. Never had problems with OkMobility in the past, and I already have received the refund since they confirmed there was nothing wrong with my driving license!
I rented a car from them for a day at the Madrid airport location. I was told that the location is open until 11pm on the day and the car can be dropped off anytime before then. I dropped off my car at 10.45pm. During checkout, they said everything looks good and I ll get back my deposit. Later they send me an invoice of additional EUR40 for after hours drop off out of nowhere without my knowledge and consent. This was the worse car rental company experience I ever had. After speaking with their customer care, they tell that they can't do much but will try to escalate my case and someone will reach out to me via email in 14 days. Clearly this company doesn't care about their customers and just wants to charge any random amounts without consent and upfront explanation on those charges. BEWARE renting with them!
They are a discount car rental place that charges for everything and is totally inflexible. If you can define perfectly all aspects of your trip (ie. mileage) and don't make any changes to your reservation, then you can take advantage of their low prices. This didn't happen for me - I went over the 3000 km they gave me, so I had to pay EUR hundreds extra. I had to change my reservation 1 month before, but since I didn't pay for that right, they kept everything frozen until the day of. "Luckily" they had other cars available at the last minute to upgrade me, but these were only the most expensive cars. Rather than saving money with a cheap rental ($300 for 3 weeks) I bled much more money (>EUR1000 for 3 weeks) than I likely would've with a traditional rental company.
