At the lowest price, they provided a very high-quality and comfortable car. I didn't get the exact vehicle I wanted (they gave me an MB instead of an Audi), but the listing did mention that an equivalent model might be provided. The only downside was that picking up the car took more than an hour. There was a very long line, and only one employee was handling it. But everything else during the car pickup process went smoothly. Also, one of the small nuances was that the car was given with 3.5/4 of a tank filled, but I had to return it with a full tank of gas. P. S: The car on photo is dirty due to a long trip.
The staff and pick up was extremely pleasant and fast. The staff member explained everything about the rental of the car and even upgraded me to a better car for the same price. The return was also very fast. Will recommend Eropcar to anyone. Thanks for the experience!
I am writing to express my heartfelt gratitude to the Europcar staff members for their exceptional service. When we arrived without a reservation, we had no expectations. Eneris greeted us warmly and treated us with great kindness. Despite our lack of a booking, she was able to secure a car for us at a very fair price. Upon returning the car, we encountered an issue--we didn't know how to open the gas cap and found ourselves stuck without fuel. Our first instinct was to visit the agency, hoping for a solution. Javier came to our rescue by lending us a gallon bottle and teaching us how to open the gas cap, allowing us to fill the car with some gas. Furthermore, Alberto, one of the employees, went above and beyond by driving me to the gas station and helping me find a quick solution. Overall, we are more than satisfied with the service we received. A big thank you to Eneris, Javier, and Alberto for their outstanding assistance. We will definitely return!
Car was good, but was not serviced properly before releasing it to me. Air pressure sensors reported low tire pressure and front right headlight was out. No english instructions on how to deal with problems. Needed to go online to look up english language car manual to reset tire pressure sensors. There was some damage to the car that was not indicated to me, making it difficult to assess whether I was responsible. However, checkout was fast and efficient and the model got great gas mileage and performed well.
I am writing to express my disappointment with the service I received during my recent car rental with Europcar company. I was promised that if I arrived earlier than expected, I would pay less for the rental. However, this turned out to be false information, as I was charged the full amount regardless of my early arrival. Furthermore, when I collected the car, I noticed a scratch on it. Fortunately, I took a photo of the scratch before I left to protect myself. When I returned the car early, a representative from Europcar attempted to extort money from me for the scratch that was already there when I arrived. This was a clear and blatant lie and an unacceptable practice. I am extremely disappointed in the service I received, particularly as I trusted and relied on the promises made by Europcar at the time of booking. As such, I will be opting for a different car rental company in future bookings. It saddens me to say that Europcar lost a customer due to dishonesty and poor service.
I used it twice last month and the experience was between very bad and horrible: * They never provide the car in the picture, that's just a catch, they always give the "similar" car and that one is always worse than the one in the pictures, of course. * Both times the cars came with a lot of scratches that they acknowledged on the pickup day, but when I returned the keys they wanted to make me responsible. Luckily I took pictures before and also I had the insurance, so I didn't pay after all. But be careful with this. * Both times the car was very dirty inside, they don't care to clean it before handle it to someone else. * I had a 55EUR fine and, on top of that, they charged me a management fee of 49EUR! Almost as much as the original fine! One bad experience can be just bad luck, but two in a month is not a coincidence but a trend. I learned my lesson, never again.
Never again!! We had a booking for a week from 12pm to 12pm. We returned the car at 12.10 and they tried to charged us for a FULL day as they said they were able to give us the car a bit earlier than expected on the day of collecting (11.40), we never requested this, they were just informing us "your car is already ready to collect" We tried to contact them to reach an agreement but basically "computer says no", we then received a theatening letter from the lawyers to pay the full day + fee, tried to contact the lawyers on several occasions (phone and email) but again no answer, last thing was a letter from the lawyers informing us of the beginning of a court proceeding, impossible to contact them by any means so the only solution is to pay as the figure will just keep increasing... An absolute disgrace!! never again with Europcar!!
Stay AWAY from this company! The staff was fine. But the real surprise came when they sent an invoice with bogus charges. The fake charges include an extra day of rental, a charge for filling up the gas tank (almost 8 gallons). Which is strange, because it was completely full when I left it. But the joke is on them because I took pictures of the full gas tank. I also took pictures of the ticket I left with the date and time stamp. As soon as it posts with my credit card company, I will be disputing these charges. They messed with the wrong gringa! I have photos of everything! This place is a scam.
