I booked a car through Booking.com, but when I arrived, they informed me that the car wasn't available, and I would need to wait. After nearly two hours, they were able to provide me with a better car that could accommodate my luggage, and they also pointed out a scratch that was already on the vehicle. the team members there which I don't know their names was friendly and helpful
The office manager refused our reservation on the spot because he entered the wrong address details and wrote Russia instead of Bulgaria. A family trip planned for nearly a year was destroyed, and the frustration of our three children, aged 6, 12, and 15, was huge. He refused to share his name, was rude, and refused any assistance despite all the evidence that the mistake was his. He didn't support clients because they weren't important to him. Alamo needs to pick their reps better. I will never recommend the Alamo and this representation. Stay away.
I don't know why there are so many negative rdon'teviews. I was a little concerned reading them, but we had an excellent experience. Getting our car was quick and easy and the staff was friendly and professional. The location may be hard for some to find due to it being underground. But signs are there. It is on the 1st level of the parking garage. We had no issues getting there.
Once again using this platform to try to get a response for my pending 7month claim. Apparently, it takes 24h to respond to a Google Review, but no answer via email nor online form. --- I had a terrible experience with Enterprise that has been unresolved for six months. I was given a vehicle with a severe engine malfunction, which could have led to a serious accident. As a result, my plans were completely disrupted, costing me significant money and causing immense inconvenience. The most egregious part of this ordeal was when the car broke down, and I had to take a taxi from the breakdown location to the T1 office, which was an hour and a half away. Before taking the taxi, I was assured by representatives at the Plaza de Espana office and the T1 office that I would be reimbursed for this expense. However, despite these assurances, I have yet to receive any compensation or response from Enterprise. I've followed up numerous times, but there has been no action taken. This level of service is unacceptable and highly disappointing. I urge Enterprise to address this issue immediately and provide the promised reimbursement. Customers should be cautious when renting from this company due to potential risks and the lack of support.
Everything worked out perfectly. We even got a nice upgrade. No hassle about extra insurance when I said I was already insured through my credit card. Kind service at both pickup and drop off.
Igor and Patricia at the Plaza de Espana office in Madrid went out of their way to make sure we had a car that would not only meet but exceed our needs for a 2 week drive through Spain. They were courteous and forgiving with our basic Spanish skills while they both had a very good understanding of English, and even made good suggestions of places in Spain not to be missed, or to get off the beaten path away from the "turistas". Gas is expensive in Spain, and once Igor and Patricia realized we would be on the road for 14 days, they upgraded us to a new Volvo Hybrid, which proved to be a perfect fit for us: fuel efficient, zippy and compact enough to maneuver and park in the tightest "old town" spots. I recommend booking directly with Enterprise, paying for the full coverage and pre-paying for the gas upon return, since there aren't many gas stations in midtown Madrid. We returned the car with a half tank and the refunded us about EUR25-EUR30. Pro Tip: Take your own photos of the car before you leave. And be sure to bring your own phone charging cord with an USB-A connection in order to integrate with the car's display. Bravo, Enterprise!
I hope my photo of your tiny sign will help your customers find your office instead of leaving a negative review after struggling to find you. In return, I hope if we did accidentally drive into a restricted zone, you would waive the EUR25 charge by paying our fine for us. After reading other people's review I am concerned why you also didn't inform us the areas to avoid getting a fine. But I do have to say thank you. We arrived before your office opened and you served us before you had to. You were polite, friendly and patient when my credit card did not work. Thank you for the upgrade to a Mercedes Benz!!!
