2nd Update: Customer service representation is ridiculously poor and ineffective in addressing valid concerns raised by customers. There is no reason you should ever provide this business with your money, time or attention. Seek a vehicle elsewhere. Update: Have not had any meaningful response from customer service. Rent Elsewhere. Believe the bad reviews. Do not trust the AI generated/paid for good reviews Will try every scam to get more than the agreed price. Will overcharge, delay return of your deposit. Have poorly trained staff. Safely spend your money at a different business.
This place is a scam, it is robbery! I didn't purchase the insurance and so they use obviously old scratches to charge you 340EUR !!! Without any form or way to solve it, the man who is upfront is rude and aggressive. By reading through other reviews I noticed that the 340 EUR charge was a common occurrence. The employee that gives you the car, only marks obvious scratches and when you return the car, the small ones are precisely found. Don't fall for the low prices!!! (Note:same employee, but I didn't take the pic only reposted)
I feel completely scammed with the service of Clickrent, they have manipulated the situation in order to charged me for a little scratch in the car that I did not make, they didn't provide a paper showing all the details the car had and didn't ask me to sing or acknowledge any details or damage the car had, they just asked me to film a video, which I did, unlucky in the video doesn't show clear the "little scratch" and they unfairly charged me 340EUR, the guy who attended me say " I don't see anything on that video" and "it is your responsibility to record propoerly the car" I feel completely scammed because I asked for proof of the scratch wasn't there before and they "don't have pictures of the damages" but they went straight away to take pictures of the one that wants to charge me, Nasme has given me a careless support showing no other interests of taking money away from me, completely disgusting experience, stay away from this company and be careful with this guy 'Nasme' he will do the all in his hand to try to charge you unfairly
An excellent car rental company in Madrid. The employee Marbella is very friendly, professional, and successfully found a solution for us after we were left without a reservation and had been mistreated by another rental company. Thanks to Marbella and ClickRent, we were able to enjoy our trip to Madrid.

The best of my renting experience was because of Nasme who helped me to sort out a misunderstanding with my booking through Rental Cars. Also, the car was in perfect conditions and as always, I strongly recommend to take a video of the car when collecting it, as they check it thoroughly on the way back and it is possible that not all the existing scratches are reported in the contract.
A group of 8 of us friends took 2 cars in Madrid Chamartin with full insurance and a max deposit of 200 euros. When we got there, we got a scratched car, which they told us not to worry about because we have full insurance. We returned both cars on time and for one we got a signature that we had returned the car. When we asked for another one to sign, they said that we don't need to, that it has already been resolved. After two days, they charged me 40 euros with the explanation that we returned the car a day later than we were supposed to.To my objection that we were already in Malaga that day and with the train tickets to Malaga and the plane ticket home sent to their e-mail after 3 days of silence, they replied that I was one day late. It's not some kind of money, but I don't think anyone likes to be fooled and that's why I give this company the lowest possible rating.
I have used this company before two times and things went smooth, but the last time in the Madrid Chamartin office was very bad. I arrived Wednesday morning at 9am in a hurry as I had plans that involved being in another town at a certain time to meet a tour guide. The wait to get service took over half an hour though as there was only two people working at the reception on a bank holiday. I asked both attendants if anything could be done as I had payed extra the "Cola Express" or fast queue and had done an online check in. They didn't offer help so I guess the "Cola Express" is an extra payment that doesn't actually do anything. When I got to the front of the line I was informed that they had no car for me even though my booking was from 8am at it was now 9.30, the girl at the reception said she didn't know when a car would be available. I called my friends to come in taxis at this point as it was clear we were going to be over an hour behind schedule. Then near 10am I was given a dirty Opel Corsa (photo attached) that didn't even have a completely full tank of petrol and no explanation other than its not my fault from the girl at the reception. I returned the car later that day and was told that everything was good and my deposit would be refunded immediately but it wasn't. The next day I received three calls, first accusing me of not returning the car, the second time saying I still had the keys and the third time asking me what kind of car I had. I had to ring them back today Friday on the number they called me with as the one on google goes to an office in the Balearic Islands and not Chamartin. I spoke to the same girl, she said there was a mix up with the cars, I got no apology and I asked why my deposit has not been returned as the last two times it appeared immediately in my Spanish Santander account. She said she would check it out and contact me but never returned the call. It's Friday evening now and I have not received the deposit back in my account yet. I don't normally post reviews but this whole experience has been completely bizarre and I want some sort of proof I will get my deposit back at this stage as I am concerned because nothing seemed to be organised correctly. Edit: I have got the deposit back
