I had a great experience with Centauro Car Rental! The staff was super friendly and helpful, taking the time to explain everything clearly. The price was fair, and the entire process of picking up and delivering the car was quick and straightforward. I was especially impressed by how promptly the pre-authorization deposit was returned--right on the spot after they checked the car at drop-off. Communication was excellent as everyone spoke good English, which made things even easier. The only minor inconvenience was the shuttle service, which took about 20 minutes instead of the promised 5. Fortunately, my flight timing wasn't tight, so it wasn't a big problem, but it could be improved. Overall, I'd definitely rent from them again and highly recommend them!

The car was in very good condition and the staff were friendly, helpful and efficient. and they did not try to hassle me in to buying all sorts of insurance cover! Great car rental. Very smooth pick-up. We got a fairly new Ford Kuga which was an excellent ride for our family. Delivery was also smooth and no issue at all. Only minor point was the unclear pick-up point at Terminal 4. You need to be at the bus sign "hotel pickup" and wait 10-15min

We rented a Hyundai i30 with automatic transmission for a week while visiting Madrid and were very pleased with our experience. The rental process was very straightforward, the car was brand new, the return was very easy and fast and the prices are unbeatable. The only caveat is that you must wait for the shuttle (the yellow bus) at the bus shuttle area at the Madrid airport, something that was not necessarily obvious when we made our reservation (it was in the email, but it was kinda lost in there). Once you know that, it's fine. Also, while the people we met at the office were super friendly and helpful (thanks Harrison), it is difficult or even impossible to get them on the phone. Now, here's what you need to know: even though they include basic insurance coverage with every rental, I recommend taking the additional coverage (it was only $11/day). But even with that, they blocked $1400 on my credit card for the insurance deductible in case something happened (that and their roadside assistance gave me total piece of mind). Nothing happened, so they released that amount when I returned the car. They also charged me $97 in the eventuality that I would not refill the car with gas. I refueled, so they reversed the $97 charge. I read many negative comments from people who didn't understand they were going to do these things, but it makes sense. In the end, it was great, and I was very happy.

I rented a car in September 2024 for a week. Excellent service by friendly staff (both upon collection and drop off), easy location, convenient minivan to the airport terminals and fantastic price. And the car was excellent! Impeccable, convenient, clean and smooth. And I was happily surprised by having been upgraded to the next vehicle category. Very satisfied on my first time renting with Centauro.

I rented a car in July 2014. The booking was done via the website, and I had to purchase their insurance because I did not have a credit card required for the deposit. One additional (refundable) expense was a 110EUR fuel deposit, which it meant to be refunded if the tank was brought back full. Upon my arrival , I received a car with many cosmetic damages all around, and many of them were not recorded in the contract. I was a bit concerned and I spoke to the reception about it and they told me to take a video which I did. On the delivery date, I took another video to record the vehicle at its drop-off condition, clearly recording the odometer as well. I had no issues, and my fuel deposit was returned to me a few days after the drop-off. Tip: Check if the condition of the vehicle matches the one in your contract and discuss it with the vendor. Take a clear video of the exterior, the interior, and the odometer. Check if the electric pump is in the trunk or if it is missing. Record the front and rear underside of the car and check all the electric functions of the car like lights, windows, dashboard indications, etc. Record the vehicle twice, upon pick up and drop off.

never try to rent an electric car here! i was scammed by Centauro! nobody has ever notified nor the terms and conditions mentioned, that the car can only be charged using various apps with registration of Spanish ID card and Spanish credit card. the car eventually runs out of battery that cannot be charged, and turns out need to call the tow truck service and charged over EUR340. the company blames on all my fault. the company did not answering phone call and not replying the email. the company was not helping at all.

Delia, Ana and Margarita, supposed superiors of Centauro, did not give me any answers to my questions because they were busy talking about their lives. Furthermore, the rental cars are delivered in poor condition, endangering the lives of customers. They threaten human security.

I rent often from Centauro and I am generally pleased with the service. What you have to know about this companyin Madird airport: - The transfer service from airport to the rental center is done nicely and with a new car - The people at the counter are effective and reasonably nice - The cars are new and clean - The price is fair and correct Improvements or attention points: - When you are collected from the airport or dropped back, a certain timetable would be useful to have. I waited to be taken back to the airport 35 mins without anyone telling that it will take that long. - The car was NOT the one I have requested and not even in the class, I rented a Hyundai Tucson and I got a dR (Chinese bad car disguised in Italian clothes). First, the car itself, really bad, never accept such a car, altough new, the quality was really low, DACIA is 10x better than this gas can. Now, when I say they gave me an inferior car is also because Tucson has a trunk of 560 l while this dR has 340. We managed but next time I will reject such a behaviour. I understand you cant give me the same car but IT HAS TO BE THE SAME CLASS!!! They also charge 124 euro for the petrol and reimburse if you bring the tank full and that was not mentioned before. Not a big deal but still.

I rent cars very often from centauro italy but here I had a very bad experience !!!!! I received a car with the service light on, saying that they have no cars available, but while driving on the highway at a speed of 120 km/h, I had the surprise that all the controls and lights on the dashboard went out, the engine suddenly stopped and they came back in a few seconds!!!! the wife called the company and after explaining what had happened and that it was putting us in danger, they asked us to take the car to Madrid or Malaga because they had no other options, but the defect was repeated and I looked for what could be the defect, I I found the negative terminal of the car battery detached, the screw being completely loose, I bought an adjustable key from the gas station and fixed the problem that when I returned the car, they did not want to take into account that they endangered the people from car and they didnt want to write down a complaint recommending that we write to them by e-mail! bad on their part, I paid full casco towing and everything that was necessary, but I make you go 500 km with the car that puts you in danger for someone to look at it!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I would give 5 stars but they have charged an extra cover when I returned the car. I contacted the after sale to get a refund and they said that they charge the smart cover if a credit card deposit is not left, however, Ive left a deposit and Ive been charged the smart cover at the end. Worst than that was the member of staff who didnt let me know theyre charging me the extra cover. I only noticed the extra charge because I thought they didnt refund me the fuel fee. Unfortunately, the after sale insists I didnt leave the deposit even though both contracts (at pick up and return date) clearly show the deposit has been pre-authorised on my credit card.

Excellent treatment, they gave me a car of the range that I had requested and after using it for a day I didnt like it at all, and since the rental was for several days, they changed it for me without a problem. In the end I returned the car early and they returned the proportional part to me without any problem. Overall very happy, I recommend it and of course I would use it again if necessary.

I have rented from almost all the budget rental car companies in Madrid and this is by far the worst. I wouldnt rent here again if it was free. We had to wait 3 hours to pick up the car, which was so long we couldnt get to our accommodation that night and had to pay for a new one closer. Returning also took forever, and there was a queue of cars down the road so long that the police came and told them to sort it out. You also have to get a shuttle to the airport which is only every half hour or so, and we had to wait for the second one since there were too many people waiting.
