great staff. very helpful and thorough. would get from them again. online booking was a bit testy but guy at the desk fixed this. i did not need to meet with him again (which is a good thing because it means that all was well).
Paz was the most helpful person I have dealt with in a long time. She saved my day after a cancelled flight.
The service was great. It is expensive, don't take the extra insurance, and don't take the upgrade unless it is offered for free. Car was nice, also ask for some explanation of how to get in and out of the airport carpark.
Friendly staff, but the car came without a working radio and no wiping water. I got an apology for my complaint, I was expecting a small refund because of the more expensive rate. After demanding this I got zero repsonse.
I've booked this company for car hire this week, they state they are on airport whereas in fact it's a shuttle bus. I paid more money to avoid the shuttle buses when i could have used one of the cheaper companies who advertise that they are off site, It's too late to amend the booking now as the prices have shot up. Anyway, 1 star so far will see what happens on Friday & update. Thank you for the response, a technical fault will not let me contact the customer services details you gave me. This isn't in fact for a past booking it is for booking this coming Friday.
Car ordered online was not available so had to upgrade at an extra cost. However the car met our needs and was comfortable. We realised that we didn't need the car for the last few days so was able to return it early to a different depot which was very useful.
Terrible Europcar experience here from start to finish. Car was dirty inside, had computer issues and smelled like a wet dog. Staff were not helpful at all and it was clear as a first time english speaking visitor to the Basque country, that they were going to take advantage of the situation. NOTE: GET FULL INSURANCE COVERAGE.
Do not rent from europcar at this airport, the worst. The car did not have a full tank of fuel, it was dirty inside and out.
