When we arrived to take the car (which was hard enough, since there's no public transport directly here), nobody spoke English and we had a very hard time interacting with the rep. The car was functional, but we received it with other people's garbage inside and worse of all, the car had writing on the front windshield the the rep said we needed to drive with. Luckily, an older rep noticed and jumped outside to peel the letters. The only reason I'm giving three stars instead of one is because of Ivan who helped us when we returned the car. Hes the only one who speaks English and was kind enough to call a taxi for us. So in summary: thank you Ivan, not so much the other people
Hace dos semanas alquile un coche para irme unos dias de vacaciones. El mismo dia empezo a fallar, la bateria no funcionaba correctamente y tuve que llamar a la grua, despues de varios intentos llamando al seguro del vehiculo, el cual no me daba ninguna solucion. Conseguieron arrancarlo gracias a las pinzas, pero al dia siguiente volvio a fallar dos veces, dejandonos tirados en medio de la carretera. El servicio de asistencia en carretera tardo mas de dos horas en llegar, y luego no llego la grua que pedimos ni el taxi que nos ofrecieron. La unica solucion fue dejar el coche en la concesionaria para ir al dia siguiente y reclamar lo sucedido, aunque anadir que el mecanico de RACE nos atendio correctamente y nos acompano hasta la concesionaria por si se volvia a parar el coche. Ademas de todo esto, el primer dia que se llamo al seguro para solucionar el problema nos comunicaron que no salia como titular y no habia constancia del alquiler de coche. Al dia siguiente fuimos a la concesionaria de Mataro, ocasionplus, para quejarnos de lo sucedido. Ahi debo decir que nos atendieron bien y nos dieron un coche nuevo. Agradeci la ayuda, pero en Llica de vall me estafaron porque me dieron el coche en mal estado.
Two weeks ago I rented a car to go on vacation for a few days. The same day it started to fail, the battery was not working properly and I had to call the tow truck, after several attempts calling the vehicle insurance, which did not give me any solution. They managed to start it thanks to the pliers, but the next day it failed again twice, leaving us stranded in the middle of the road. It took more than two hours for the roadside assistance service to arrive, and then the tow truck we requested and the taxi they offered us did not arrive. The only solution was to leave the car at the dealership to go the next day and complain about what happened, although I would add that the RACE mechanic treated us correctly and accompanied us to the dealership in case the car stopped again. In addition to all this, the first day we called the insurance to solve the problem they told us that we were not the owner and there was no record of the car rental. The next day we went to the Mataro dealership, ocasionplus, to complain about what happened. There I must say that they took good care of us and gave us a new car. I was grateful for the help, but in Llica de Vall they scammed me because they gave me the car in poor condition.
