Portugalrent rent a car in Lisbon

Every year, I spend about two months in Portugal. After trying out various car rental services, I stumbled upon Portugalrent, and I've never looked back. Given my 15 years of experience with car rentals, I can confidently say that no other company compares to Portugalrent in terms of pricing, quality, and customer service. Thank you Portugalrent.

I definitely recommend Portugalrent. The car was clean and in great condition, fully tanked, equipped with via verde device (automatic toll payments). No problems at all, great contact with very friendly employees. And the rental price was just great. I got the deposit back as agreed without any problems. Tip: be sure to use a credit card in EUR currency, otherwise your bank could rip you off twice on the currency exchange (when paying in and when getting back the deposit).

When I'm Back in Portugal I will definitely be using them again. They were easy to work with and helped me out last minute! Everyone I talked with was professional, kind, and informative. The car I was given was exactly what I expected and in great condition.

We were looking online for a car rental service for a week. All other car rental companies had such bad reviews we did not even consider them. Communication was clear, we did have to wait a bit for the car because it was still being cleaned (we just spent that time roaming around Lisbon). However, when the representative arrived with the car, they had upgraded it at no cost. It was a brand new car, no scratch on it. Once the warranty was paid, we were free to go. 2 weeks after our return back home, we got the entirety of our warranty back. Honestly, I would recommend this car rental service to anyone looking for one in Portugal.

This company was recommended to me by my hotel, and it was the only one I could find that delivers their cars to hotel. The service was excellent, and I highly recommend them. They delivered to the hotel at exactly the time we agreed upon, and then they met me at the departures lot at the airport for a quick and seamless drop-off before my flight (avoiding the hassle of using the airport's car rental center and shuttle). They require a substantial security deposit, and I was mildly nervous about getting it back. But sure enough, the deposit was returned to my credit card soon after my drop-off, exactly as described in their terms of service. Overall, a great experience.

Great service. They dropped off the car at our hotel at the beginning of our trip and picked it up at the end of our trip -- no hassle standing in lines or having to drive through the city streets from the rental office. Car was clean, well maintained and the service was top notch. Highly recommend.

PortugalRent made driving in Portugal EASY! We didn't need a car the entire time. We wanted a car to drive from Porto to Lisbon, then later drive from Lisbon to the Algarve, and then the Lisbon Airport. Easy convenient drop-off and pick-up at our hotels in Porto and Lisbon. Easy pick-up at the Lisbon Airport. We had a really nice, easy to drive Ford Puma. I wish all my rental car experiences - domestically in the US or international - we're this easy and convenient!
