Have you ever heard that citizens of the European Union must have a passport (not any other identification document, but a passport only, which is not even required in Lithuania, if you do not need to cross the external borders of the EU) in order to rent a car. For me, who really travels a lot in Europe, this was the first time that Alamo did not rent a car without a passport (the car was even pre-booked on Rentalcars.com). Alamo is an ancient and not at all European approach! Run as far away from them as possible! Meanwhile, Hertz, located in the neighborhood, quickly helped by renting a car without any passport (with other identification document). BYPASS the Alamo, stop by Hertz, that's for sure!
Buenos dias, he alquiler muchos coches por toda la geografia espanola, debido a mi trabajo. Hoy he devuelto el coche que he alquilado a ALAMO... y tanto a la recogida como en la devolucion, he quedado sorprendido de la educacion, profesionalidad, la disponibilidad a explicar todo, limpieza, etc... del personal que trabaja en esta oficina ( Renfe Leon)... Good morning, I have rented many cars throughout Spain, due to my work. Today I returned the car that I rented from ALAMO... and both at the pick-up and return, I was surprised by the politeness, professionalism, willingness to explain everything, cleanliness, etc... of the staff that works at this office (Renfe Leon)...
