We had already paid for car insurance but the rental company didn't accept it and required us to pay again. Alternatively they demanded a deposit but only via a credit card not a debit card. The car is not available at the airport instead, they take you by bus to the branch.

First off they are thieves. We booked through discover cars and paid half, upon arriving they told us that amount isn't valid and we would have to contact discover cars to get a refund. The lady was very rude and dismissive about it. It was obvious this issue happens often but they haven't done anything about it. After contacting discover cars they told us that the insurance we were charged by Orlando can be avoided if you have a credit card and can pay the deposit. This should be made clear by Orlando instead of having the hidden extra cost you are forced to pay on arrival if you don't have a credit card. Also the car we were given had something wrong with the engine which meant it didn't have enough power to get up steep hills. This is very unhelpful in a hilly place like gran Canaria. We got stuck down a hill in a small town for 45 minutes trying to get the car out. We thought we'd be stuck there. It was traumatizing.

Don't touch with company with a barge pole. They completely ripped us off - we booked through a 3rd party site - which guaranteed NO hidden fees, and gave us an amount to pay at the desk. But it was all lies. There were hidden fees and we were forced to pay alot more at the desk than we were expecting - like double!!! We will never use them again. Buyer beware

A robery with the hidden fees. It's written that rental above 3 days, the agency will charge you full tank and you have to return the car as empty as possible (which always is difficult), and the fee for a VW Golf is 85EUR when in any petrol station is half price in the canaries. Typical hidden fees that make the rental price a double. The collection office is outside at 15 min in a bus, problem to return the car if you have to fly earlier in the morning, you should pay another 15EUR if you leave the car at the airport. At the end of the day, any of the 5 available main rental car at the airport have better fees than Orlando and 10 times less hassles to pick up/ return the car. A robery that will definitely spoil your holidays.

The transfer after the return of the car back to the airport was also very quick. We got a new car in the top condition. Please be careful and read the conditions about payment, driver's age and caution before order! It was necessary to have a credit card. I was a bit concerned after I read some of the reviews here as I have already had a car booked and paid for. From my personal experience, I found the whole process is actually not bad, quite pain less. I wasn't asked to buy additional insurance or hassled for anything. From walking in the shop and getting my key to the car, it's about 5 - 8 mins. Yes my car was an old car, loads of mileage on it, but it did its job, it got me from A to B without any problems at all. On returning my car, again it took like 5 mins, they didn't ever check if there was any damages on the car. Overall, I am quite happy with the service, you get what you pay for in the city centre. I was literally going to give them a 3.5 stars but there isn't an option. Hey, why not 4?! Well, it would have been nice to get a shiny brand new car

Siendo la oficina del aeropuerto deberian gestionar mejor estos desplazamientos y tiempos, sino que no pongan aeropuerto en el nombre de dicha oficina. Ademas, la atencion fue nefasta, 0 empatia y ninguna explicacion. Compania perfecta si alquilas el coche en otra sede para desplazarte por la isla, no para coger o dejar el coche en el aeropuerto.

Da pena que los empleados de una empresa asi de grande se escuden en lo tienes en la web . En lugar de movilizarse y conseguir la mejor atencion y satisfaccion para el cliente. Ha sido una experiencia realmente decepcionante y desilusionadora que nos invita a pagar mas en otra ocasion y acudir a otras companias.

We booked a car the size of a Renault Clio or similar with collection at the airport. when renting it is clearly specified that we will not find the car at the airport but upon our arrival we will find an Orlando representative with a sign who will take us with a shuttle to the office to collect the car. Upon our arrival at the office we were cordially welcomed by qualified staff who carried out the registration procedure very quickly, obviously asking for a driving license and credit cards as a guarantee. Once the paperwork was completed, the car was delivered to us. a brand new car didnt even have 20 thousand km, it was a Citroen C3 with many options, even the Intelligent Key System, the car was petrol. We rented the car from April 21st to May 3rd and paid 235 euros, a truly excellent price. upon returning the car, a check-out was done with a staff member who inspected the car and checked that the car had been returned with a full tank (which is important and should not be underestimated). The very best car rental for us (our hotel was Bull Astori around the corner)!!! There wasnt the cheapest alternative car, but the cheerful, English-speaking, service-oriented salesman immediately suggested that he could still rent a car of a better class (a red VW Polo) for two days at the same lowest price. By the way, that car has already been mentioned in previous reviews... more than 119 thousand km driven) which has the front proximity warning which is sensitive, i.e. it often warns somewhere on winding roads. But it didnt bother us, the warning can be turned off in the cars settings every time its started, if it bothers you. The car was clean, tidy, not scratched at all and works like a car that has just been driven. We drove it around Gran Canaria and its air conditioner worked flawlessly. The return (even the 200 reservation was immediately reset) was completely proper and effortless. No squealing. The man also advised how to get to the old town by bus and gave tips on parking. Tip: It is advisable to rent a car at such a time (e.g. in the evening shortly before closing time) that you can leave it at the rental company. Otherwise, you have to find a paid Park before returning. The blue toll booth area is subject to a fee even on the weekend, but the green toll booth areas are not. Thanks to the seller for a really nice rental experience! Orlandos rental points could be seen all over the island and I dont know about other points, but I will 100% sure rent a car here for the first time.

I give them one star because the car was good and the price was affordable. At no time does anyone tell you that they dont have an office at the airport nor does anyone tell you where to go. We got off the plane and had to call because we couldnt find the office, and then we were waiting for a bus to pick us up and take us to the office, which is about 5 km from the airport!
