Rented a car with FULL insurance. Caused damage to the tyre accidentally while at Aqualand. They brought a new car and advised would be covered under insurance. The following day 240 euros was taken from my card without authorisation and fraudulently. I argued this and Omega argued that it was an unpaved road. I sent photographic evidence of the tarmacked attraction and they still argued it wasn't covered. I would be very cautious renting with these.

That is what I got so far: I rented the most expensive car: A Jeep Wrangler. First Wrangler: Windshild totally broken! Second Wrangler: Tires absolutely dead! (View Pictures). I recommended to cancel the rental agreement. The answer was: ,,(...)I have consulted with my managers, you can return the car early if you think it is appropriate, but Omega does not refund the money for the days not enjoyed." By know, I have no car, which I can drive safely. If there will be an agreement coming up, I will update my review.

Very unprofessional. They charged our card with extra charges without notice. Upon request made up some charges regarding "excessive dirt", no details provided. We have full videos of the car at the time of drop off proving that this is not the truth. No written communication other than WhatsApp. They refuse to email any statements. It's really baffling because we booked our car through Avis as Avis Preferred members, and instead we got a car from this "establishment".

We rented a fiat 500 for 2 days and by looking on the website the prices were reasonable (EUR62 for the 2 days) so as it was close by we went directly to the dealer and he made us pay EUR120 and after confronting him with the price the only response was that the website was wrong and the car was EUR40 per day (which is in anycase wrong) but the dealer simply said it was a mistake and for a fiat 500 it's EUR60 per day, Crazy price!! The car was fantastic, clean full tank and wery well kept that's why I'm putting 2 stars

We came to Gran Canaria for a week. We expected to be able to rent a car on the island at the most popular company on the islands. Unfortunately, due to too high occupancy, we were unable to do it. We really wanted to take advantage of this. We found Omega Rent a Car completely by accident - while walking around Las Palmas. We went to their office and found a car available. The whole process ran smoothly and quickly. The service was kind and competent. The upside of the rental was full security should anything happen during the trip. The price for the Opel Corsa was 48 E for 1 day. The price decreased depending on the number of rental days. The more, the lower the price. We were able to drop off the car at whatever time we wanted. Parking available 24h. The car is fully operational and well-equipped. I heartily recommend this company!

Due to a booking complication with one of the biggest car rental services in Gran Canaria, I was left without a car... Did a quick google search and found Omega rental which was nearby my current location. I walked in hoping for the best, and I must say it turned out well for me. The staff at the counter assisted me with the car selection and booked a wonderful car immediately. I asked for a child carseat if it was available, and they provided one at no extra charge. The car costed 45 euros/day. The staff at desk guided me to the parking where the car is. Went to Level 8 and found my car at its dedicated Omega spot. The car was clean and looked brand new with just 1400+ km on it. Everything worked perfectly. I did not have any issues with the car. When returning the car, I just had to leave the keys at the parking reception. If you are staying nearby Las Canteras, you probably could park the car there overnight for free... Overall, it was a pleasant experience. Would recommend this rental service to anyone who is going to Gran Canaria.

We just came back from our holidays in Fuerteventura and we rented a car for the second time with Omega (first experience was last year and it was a good one) but this time we unfortunately felt very betrayed. We made a reservation for an automatic car, a specific bigger model. But when we picked up the car they gave us a much smaller model. I understand that it says that you might not necessarily get exactly the same car as says on the internet but that entire model/size we had chosen via their website, they apparently did not have on this island. When we mentioned this they said quite rudely that this was it and it was either this small car or nothing. They offered us no alternative or financial compensation not even a apology. We had no choice at that time and took the car anyway. But what was really disappointing and rude is that when we returned the car by the end of our holiday, we simply received a message via whatsapp afterwards stating that they would debit 100 euros from my account because it had been left dirty . I could not believe it. We had genuinely left only a very small amount of sand behind (exactly how we had returned it last year but then everything was ok). And now the money has simply been deducted from my account and they do not respond to my messages and complaints. A 100 euros!! Just 0 response. We are extremely disappointed in how rude they have been this time and are simply extorting money from customers. I see that they do not respond to any negative reviews on this page either. Very weak bussinesmanagement and just rip offs.

What happens now is that since November 7th I told them that I needed an invoice and I gave them the information. I delivered the car on November 13 and I have been requesting the invoice since that day and there is no way. Day after day I tell them that please I need it so I can close the trip report and nothing, sometimes they dont even answer me... Anyway, if you need a bill, its better not to rent here

The car was supposed to be on its way and would be there within 30 minutes, but it didnt arrive until after about an hour. And then it turns out to be the wrong car. We had a reservation at 1 am, but it wasnt until an hour and a half later that the right car arrived and at half past two (two and a half hours later) we could finally drive. Dont know how to finalize the paperwork to get it signed and get us paid. We were only able to get our car at 11:30 a.m. Today Friday I go to see the gentleman who made the rental and tell me that he cant do anything, call his boss and he cant do anything either. Al igual que he comentado por wassap, no deberias decir al cliente que la fianza se devuelve al momento, es mas facil indicar que la fianza se devolvera en un plazo maximo de una semana y media o dos semanas, asi si surge algun problema, el cliente no tiene la sensacion de inseguridad y de que le estan tomando el pelo. Dejando a un lado este incidente, destacar que el servicio de entrega y devolucion por parte de los trabajadores fue perfecto, el coche estaba tambien en buenas condiciones. Remarcar que volvere a confiar en OMEGA si vuelvo a viajar a lanzarote, me quede con mal sabor de boca por el tema de la fianza pero se ha solucionado ionado todo correctamente, no en los plazos indicados, pero se ha solucionado, que es lo importante y queria remarcarlo, ya que todos podemos tener errores o problemas , pero la diferencia la marca el que los solventa, como habeis hecho vosotros. Modificio mi resena a 5 estrellas Gracias y un saludo.
