Really happy with Dolar Rent a Car. Needed a car quickly and they sorted us out on the same day. We rented an automatic Dacia for 50EUR a day, which was a great deal. The people at Dolar Rent a Car were very friendly and made everything easy and clear. The whole experience was straightforward and pleasant, a strong contrast to the usual hassle with the big rental companies. No problems at all with the car or the service. I definitely recommend them for a stress-free car rental experience.

Five stars for the well maintained cars and the good treatment we received. If you want to talk to real people and not faceless companies, this is the place to rent a car from. My wife and I rented an ibiza for 2 days (EUR40/day plus a deposit which was automatically refunded to us 4-5 days later). The car was new but someone had scratched it. Upon receiving the car, the owner told us not to worry about the scratches. The car was fast and easy to drive. It was clean inside. We filled in the forms, completed the necessary paperwork and received our car with a half full tank. We returned it almost full, because we didn't calculate the amount of gas we needed. That was OK because gas prices on the island are a joke, a litre costs something like EUR1,20... So no problem with that. What we noticed and appreciated a lot, is that -contrary to the big names in the market- this is a family-run business doing an honest living. Family pictures and awards from past achievements decorate the office. Last but not least, Mr Moti is a true "pearl". We wish you a long and happy life and if we ever come back we hope to see you again.

We booked the cheapest option 30 Euros a day with plenty of notice. On the day, they didn't have that category car available and offered us the next level up. Instead of honouring the price that the original booking was made for, they charged us the higher price! This is just wrong and not the way most car companies operate. I feel cheated and would not recommend.

This is my favorite rental car service that I've ever been to. The people are friendly, flexible, extremely easy to work with, and their pricing is better than the competitors. I don't think renting a car has ever been a joyful experience for me before, but this was. I am so glad we found them.

I had a really nice experience with this company. Rented a car last minute for 4 days, but after 1 day I had to go back to Holland because of a negative travel advice (because of covid). So I brought the car back 2.5 days earlier and received the money of 2 of the 4 days back. They understood the situation and were flexible!! I had contact with a really nice helpful man, Victor. I drove myself to the airport and they picked up the car from the airport (a nice service, which costs 20 euros extra)

We rented a car for 4 days and we had a pleasant experience: fair price, quality service and a good car. We really appreciated the welcoming of the owner. We were happy to rent a car from a family business instead of a big corporation. We recommend Dollar Rent A Car!

Very friendly staff who went out of their way to make renting a car easy. Usually would go with a large established agency but this car rental is family run and trustworthy. Would recommend to anyone looking to rent a car in Las Palmas.
