Nomad America in La Garita

The best in the business I would say. Right from the booking to picking up and return, they were just amazing. The cars might be old but they are very well maintained. We had rented the Hilux and we had issues with one of the tent which had a leak. They were very prompt and quick to respond and a brand new tent was installed on our truck and that too they came to wherr we were with everything that was needed. Had a wonderful Costa Rica experience with Nomad America.

Wonderful experience, highly recommended for any type of overland camping!! There were 5 people on this trip and had enough space for luggage and seating. 3 of us slept on top of the truck, very spacious and comfortable and 2 were using tents. Well mapped out for campsites and various attractions. Would definitely use Nomad America again for the next adventure. Muchas gracias!!!

We booked our rental 4x4 with Nomad America with a rooftop tent. It was amazing. Diego (our contact person) was picking us up from the airport, which was really nice to start the holiday. He explained everything on the car. From everything that is included to how to set up the tent. He really took the time for us. Also you'll be added to a groupchat, so whenever you have questions on the road, you can always contact them. During our holiday we had a flat tire (a few hours away from Nomad America) and we contacted them. They responded immediately and helped us with a solution. Diego contacted garages in the area where we were and found a tire that fit our car. He send the details and made sure they knew we were coming. He also really considered our traveling itenirary, so it would not mess up our trip. He is such a nice contacting person. After the trip, we handed in our 4x4. That also went very quickly. No Better way to explore Costa Rica. Our experience with Nomad America really made the trip so much more adventurous and memorable. Highly recommend renting their fully setup rigs for a wild ride. They are super knowledgeable of the areas you'll most likely want to go, and some you didn't know about too. Diego was awesome and told us about a few spots the were well worth the detour on our already tightly planned trip. We're already looking forward to the next time we head to Costa Rica with Nomad America!

Fantastic experience. The guys from Nomad America are kind, knowledgeable, well-equipped, helpful and friendly. Their cars and tents are simply perfect. We spent 15 days in Costa Rica, it rained almost all the time and we always slept in their tents. Not a drop of water got in. Fantastic. If you come to Costa Rica and want to camping, rely on them.

Rented a Toyota 4runner with roof tent for a month. Great service before our trip including advice on which setup would be best with kids. During the journey the team was always available via WhatsApp. The car itself was in impeccable condition with many useful camping accessories. Highly recommended!
