It was the second time that I have rent a car by Victoria Cars and I'm very satisfied. Nearly no waiting time by picking up on the airport and also by bringing the car back. I had the 2 times a recent car and very friendly office people. I had a problem with my Iphone because my car didn't accept my usb line to connect with Apple Car Play but I needed the newest one. By a visit in the Victoria office in Calpe the manager was even so friendly going with me to the China shop nextdoor to chose the right one. I'm delighted of their service.
Online reservation, paying on the spot by cash (rental) and credit card (fuel). I received the car with a full gas tank, returned it with a full gas tank and they transferred the money back first working day. Good pickup service to the airport. Absolutely no problem when returning the car, reasonable prices with full insurance. The whole process of picking up and returning the car did not take longer than 10 minutes. Definitely will use it next time I visit.
Be wary of refilling charge of EUR20 now for full to full (they only allow one petrol station for refilling and it can get so busy with queues from all the rental car places) . Refuels used to be free of admin charges but this has recently changed. Take pictures of the entire car inside and out. Take out insurance in the UK to cover their fake charges. Order Google reviews by age and you will see a huge number of 1 star reviews. My own experience of hiring from them recently means I can verify the made up cleaning charges. They sent pictures of a different car with sand in the back seats as proof. Or - just don't use them and have a stress-free holiday and get your deposits returned in a timely manner when back. Avoid. Not good anymore. Do not read old reviews and expect the same treatment as 2 years ago.
Avoid at all costs and do not be blind sided by a couple of good reviews. 1. Customer service on arrival was terrible. Rude and abrupt. 2. On return the same attitude as when we collected the car. I went with the employee to check the car and he said everything was OK and we will refund the full deposit. 3. 2 days later I receive an email stating they are taking EUR250 for damages to the car and sent photos that didn't correspond with the email. 4. I'm 6 weeks down the line and they are not answering emails and their what's app reply was this is only for enquiries (I've enquired when I'll receive a reply to my email). Please do not use this company, a total rip off with extremely poor customer service.
Very smooth service from the airport to the car rental service. Before we left on vacation, I took pictures of the car and also added the premium coverage. We had no problems with the car itself. It was clean and started without any problems. The tire pressure was a bit low when starting, so I checked this at a gas station. Check-out was quick and smooth. There was also no discussion about any scratches that were already on the car. We didn't fill up with gas before returning the car. We received the surplus diesel within 7 days. Although they're kind of guessing how much it's worth. Our tank was still just above half and they rounded this up to half. So no price per liter in our case. But well, I don't need to nitpick about details. We'll certainly come back in the future.
Be careful with renting a car from this company! False promises that cost you a lot of money and try to scam you! I rented a car here, with premium coverage, since our car broke down. You would then rent a car without any worries! When I picked up the car, an extra deposit of 415 euros was charged, 300 euros for any damage and 115 euros for fuel that you would get back if you returned the car with a full tank of fuel. Our own car had been repaired earlier, so I called this company to see if we could return the car earlier, the employee said that this was no problem and that we would get the costs back for the unused days. When returning the car, the employee tried to accuse me of damage that was already done! Fortunately, we took a lot of photos when picking up the car, otherwise we would have had to pay for this ourselves! The employee was visibly disappointed that I had taken photos of the damage. Finally the employee indicated that everything was fine and I would get all the money back. In the end, the company withholds money for a fuel shortage, which is not possible as the car was maximally refueled 2 kilometers away just before returning it. They charge 3 euros per liter!!! The diesel costs half there. I also did not get back the days that were unused, so also a lie! I also wanted to store my car here for the time that we are not in Spain, but it turns out they are not reliable!
Scam company. Their prices are low because they scam you with fake damage on return. We picked the car up in darkness and returned in daylight. The Victoria representative walked straight to a tiny blemish (see picture) on the car, which I had to put my reading glasses on to see. It's almost like he knew it was there? Needless to say, they have not returned my full deposit. I was warned before I did business with them. I only wish I had listened.
I rented a car for two weeks, and when I arrived at the rental location at midnight, the car had not been inspected. In the darkness, I inspected the car with an employee using my phone's flashlight, and we found dents and scratches all over. The employee seemed uninterested and left before we could thoroughly check everything. I also took a video of the car at that time to document its condition. Before returning the car, I vacuumed and cleaned the interior thoroughly. When I returned the car with a full tank of gas, another employee checked it with me and confirmed that everything was fine. However, three days later, I received an email stating that the car had issues, and I was fined. Here is the list of issues they provided: 1. Carroceria Puerta Der. Tras. Leve (Slight damage on the rear right door) 2. Carroceria Puerta Izquierda Tras. Leve (Slight damage on the rear left door) 3. Interior Otros Tapizados Leve (Slight damage on other interior upholstery) 4. Repostaje Servicio Repostaje Le (Refueling service charge)"
