The moment I stepped into the Sixt office, I was warmly greeted, setting a positive tone right from the start. Jose, the gentleman who assisted with my booking, went above and beyond in making the experience exceptional. His welcoming and courteous manner immediately put me at ease after a delayed arrival to Alicante. Not only was Jose highly knowledgeable, but he also presented an attractive upgrade option that perfectly suited my needs--an offer I was more than happy to accept. His efficiency was remarkable, handling all the details seamlessly so that I was on my way in just a few minutes. The streamlined process was a lifesaver, as it allowed me to quickly get on with my plans without any further delay. Superb and refreshing rental experience compared to some of the hassle and stress I've had with other agencies. Booked a Peugeot 308 online in advance, on arrival we had choice between the 308 or a Citroen C4. Scanning license, paying deposit and signing waivers took just a couple minutes. We were offered additional insurance but not pressured when we declined. Car was relatively new with about 10k km on clock and very clean inside and out. It had some light exterior damage and this was all listed accurately on the collection email. Returning was even quicker and easier - parked up, an attendance came straight out and took the keys, and we had email confirming no damage within a few minutes. Deposit was returned a few hours later. Would definitely use Sixt again.
Everything was so smooth. We were greeted in the Airport by the sweetest receptionist ever Diego Jose. He took time to explain to us all what we needed to know. The car was in top condition. The only thing about Sixt is the price and insurance are much higher than other companies but without them i couldn't have had a car because of my new driving licence. Thank you Sixt for saving my trip
Great experience from start to finish. Have hired from other rental firms which have been hopeless and dishonest to the point of criminality. Sixt on the other hand have been totally professional, easy to book with and the car has been great. Really easy to deal with, friendly, top service. Recommended
As always, friendly, professional customer service and immaculate vehicle. Thoroughly recommend this company for car hire in Spain. Each time we have rented from them we have received a good quality car that has been well maintained at a very competitive price.
Please avoid them if you can, they charged me 90 euros for 3 days(which was fine) and when we got there they charged me 120 for insurance. Now i am back from the trip and they have sent me another invoice for 205 euros with other hidden charges. They are scammers and won't disclose this while are renting. Please use some other company if you have any options.
AVOID AVOID AVOID I've been renting cars from Alicante for over a year now usually from rekordgo but they didn't have an automatic so went here. As I see in many reviews the car I ordered wasn't there so if I wanted it would be an upgrade fee of 35 euros a day a bit annoying but I'm on holiday so want to get moving. He told me take care of the car it's brand new. Get to the car there is scratches and dings all over so luckily for me I did some quick pictures just to be safe. I drop the car off three days later and sign the keys back. Right sir your deposit will be back with you. Then I'm in the airport heading home and I get an email saying car brought back with scrapes on it. They matched the photos I've had taken. So now I'm in dispute with them. The scratches are that big you could not have possibly missed them. I genuinely think this is an easy scam to do people out of money and I'm disgusted with it. It leaves a sour taste that this can happen
