Car was clean but not in great condition on collection. Had to spend sometime with member if staff to make sure ALL existing damage (bumps and scratches) was recorded accurately before we drove away. Also experienced a slow puncture towards end of hire period which may have been due to worn tyres. Eurocar staff were curteous and helpful.

I had the greatest nightmare expierience with Europcar Spain! Renting a car for 322,- Euros for two days at Jerez Airport. After I drove 5 km the car showed engine problems after 7 km it stopped. Being stocked alone as a girl at nighttime on the Spanish Highway! It took hours and hundreds of calls till someone came to pickup the car! It's highly dangerous and criminal rent out a broken car, I really don't know how this can happen and I had the worst time in my life being stocked on a highway in a foreign country! Europcar is a fraud!!

They stole my money basically. I rented a car for 1 day in Cadiz, did 230 km (while in my contract said I have 350km free) , I returned the car the same day, left it in their parking place. They charged me 50 euros more than what was on the invoice!! Very dissapointed and angry with Europcar!! Don't use their service!!

We had a car rental arranged for 0800, to go from Jerez to Malaga airport. No one showed up at the Europcar kiosk until 0845. Other customers were also waiting. You know it's bad when the staff at your competitors are apologizing to your customers on your behalf. Not impressed. On the positive side, the staff was pleasant but that kind of tardiness at this kind of business is simply unacceptable.

Small airport, many rental car providers, all served from two sides, so processing is really quick. I have never left an airport so quickly. Just great. I can only recommend booking the car in advance with a travel agency. Top prices, insurance without self-service included, everything is in German and, in case of doubt, the place of jurisdiction too. We also support jobs in the country.

Absolute fraud! Watch out! Free upgrades and one-time payments are tricked into your head. 544 euros charged additionally! What happened: When I arrived at the airport, the very nice lady Tatjana announced to me that I would get a free upgrade to an Audi A4. I thought how nice and customer-friendly Europcar was, thats great. There was also a friendly note that I had to be careful: Damages would be paid from my deposit of 800 euros, whether I wanted an upgrade in order to nullify the deductible - as was actually intended. How much does that cost? 24 euros was the answer that s all to my question? Yes, she says a one-off payment of 24 euros yes, it s done great. UNTIL THEN I assumed: The previously contractually agreed and paid costs of 226.81 euros remain + one-off 24 euros for the insurance upgrade. When I asked about the numbers in the contract, she told me (which, by the way, is in Spanish which I dont understand) that it was the calculation of the deposit. My question: Can I get ALL of this back? Yes, I get it all back was the answer. By the way, when we returned, the counter was the only one in the entire airport that happened to be there! not occupied. Today comes the reckoning that leaves me stunned. There was never any mention of: - Vehicle upgrade costs - Daily extra costs for the additional insurance, only once! I see the whole thing as deliberate fraud. This was clearly intended to deceive me as it was sold to me. I would never have needed the vehicle upgrade or 25 euros per day extra insurance. The total invoiced costs are: 544 euros extra to the amount paid in advance.

Was das kostet? 24 Euro war die Antwort das ist alles auf meine Frage? Ja einmalig 24 Euro sagt sie ja prima wird gemacht. BIS DAHIN ging ich also davon aus: Es bleibt bei den vorher vertraglich vereinbarten und bezahlten Kosten von 226,81 Euro + einmalig 24 Euro fur das Versicherungsupgrade. Auf meine Nachfrage nach den Zahlen im Vertrag sagte sie mir (der ubrigens auf Spanisch ist das ich nicht verstehe) das ware die Kalkulation des Deposit, also der Kaution. Meine Frage: Ich bekomme das ALLES zuruck? Ja das bekomme ich alles zuruck war die Antwort. Bei Ruckgabe war der Schalter ubrigens als einziger im ganzen Flughafen zufallig! nicht besetzt. Heute kommt dann die Abrechnung die mich fassungslos zurucklasst. Es war nie die Rede von: - Upgradekosten fur das Fahrzeug - Tagliche Extrakosten fur die Mehrversicherung, nur einmalig! Ich werte das Ganze als vorsatzlichen Betrug. Das war ganz klar Absicht mich hinters Licht zu fuhren wie mir das verkauft wurde. Ich hatte niemals das Upgrade vom Fahrzeug gebraucht noch 25 Euro Pro Tag extra Versicherung. Die insgesamt in Rechnung gestellten Kosten belaufen sich auf : 544 Euro extra zum im voraus bezahlten Betrag.

Well, so far the worst car weve ever rented (in terms of appearance) there wasnt a spot that wasnt either scratched or dented. I couldnt take so many pictures to document it when I picked it up/returned it. Every time I had to create an almost 3 minute video of the car to capture everything. Inside, the car looked ok, except for the stains on the driver and passenger side of the seats. Otherwise everything else was OK.
