I enjoyed my stay here. The apartment has some flaws but I don't mind at all. The area is very nice, green, many possibilities to different hiking trails. Especially after a day trip to los Cristianos, I'm very happy that we didn't pick a hotel in a touristic zone. This is definitely not an ideal place for someone who values a lot about comfort, clean, modern facilities. But for active people who love hiking, exploring the nature, having a great view of the forest, this is a hidden gem.

Lovely views on roof terrace with stunning plants all around outside areas of apartments. Spacious & adequate. Bit basic but shabby chic & maybe in need of a bit of upgrading but this is reflected in the very cheap price. ||Nearby couple of bars/restaurant/cafe but main shops a 20 min walk down a steep incline to city centre town Icod de Los Vinos. Taxi back up only 3-4 Euro. Titsa bus station in town to all destinations in Tenerife. I took a trip to beautiful Garrachio which was stunning & definitely worth a visit. Only 3 Euro return fare. ||Lovely quiet place for retreat/honeymooners/time out but not much to do if sun not out. I checked out early as it was overcast to Puerto de la Cruz which was brilliant & where my airport shuttle pick up was as it was easier than early morning travel. Got a fantastic hotel room at Hotel Marte for only PS47 for 2 nights B & B. Lots of shops/restaurants etc on the doorstep & brilliant beach close by.||Overall I would say yes worth a visit to these apartments.

I liked this place due to it being in a non touristy area. It is a trek up a very steep hill to get to so it is best to pay a few dollars for a taxi or to rent a car. Navigating around the island can be frustrating as the bus schedule is not exact so I'd rent a car next time as it is not very expensive. This place is a little colder than the south as it is higher in elevation. ||The owner is a German transplant and very helpful. The views from the terrace are amazing. I had trouble with getting wifi in the room.

good location, quiet place to relax after crowded hotels. very nice roof terrace. there is probably nothing much to do in the area, but hey, the whole island is pocket sized. we chose this apartment as a starting point to discover the area, it was pleasant to return back in the evening and pop a few bottles of wine on the roof terrase. interesting enough is that you may never meet anybody inside for the whole stay.

My partner and I stayed for 1 week after seeing the booking score. We adapt quite a bit to situations, I dont know if we got the worst room or they are all the same, but we left here quite disappointed. We had room number 6. First of all the good: Very quiet location, with parking next to the apartment. Very nice facilities as everything is surrounded by plants and the best roof terrace, with incredible views. The apartment is very well equipped, including toothbrushes, toothpaste, shampoo/shower gel, beach towels and toilet paper. They renew towels and sheets every 5 days. In our case there were bedspreads (there were no sheets), we asked for some and they provided them to us without any problem. The coverage is not very good, but they have free wifi which you can use. Now the worst part: A horrible smell of damp throughout the stay. Smell that permeated the clothes, towels, bed.... and no matter how much we left the windows open there was no way for it to go away. The humidity came from the bathroom, where we saw that the walls were full of mold. We had to cover under the door with a towel so that the strong smell would not transfer to the room, since that smell did not let us sleep, in addition the mattress was very hard and the cushions were so soft that it was as if you were sleeping without . Another problem with this room is the dining room windows. There are two that face the roof, in one you could see the window of another room and the other looked out onto the roof. Anyone who looked out saw us. I give the hosts a 10. They are very attentive when explaining how to get there (including photos and videos) and they recommend several places to eat and shop near the apartment. A shame about the room, since it is a place we will not return to nor recommend.

Mi pareja y yo nos alojamos durante 1 semana tras ver la puntuacion de booking. Somos de adaptarnos bastante a las situaciones, no se si nos toco la peor habitacion o todas son iguales, pero salimos de aqui bastante decepcionados. Nos toco la habitacion numero 6. En primer lugar lo bueno: Ubicacion muy tranquila, con parking al lado del apartamento. Instalaciones muy bonitas al estar todo rodeado de plantas y la azotea de lo mejor, con unas vistas increibles. El apartamento esta muy bien equipado, incluyendo cepillos de dientes, pasta de dientes, champu/gel de ducha, toallas de playa y papel higienico. Renuevan toallas, sabanas cada 5 dias. En nuestro caso habian colchas ( no habian sabanas), pedimos unas y sin ningun problema nos las facilitaron. La cobertura no es muy buena, pero tienen wifi gratis el cual puedes usar. Ahora la peor parte: Un horrible olor a humedas durante toda la estancia. Olor que se impregnaba en la ropa, toallas, cama.... y por mas que dejaramos ventanas abiertas no habia manera de que se fuera. La humedad venia del bano, donde vimos que las paredes estaban llenas de moho. Teniamos que tapar por debajo de la puerta con una toalla para que no traspasara el olor tan fuerte a la habitacion, ya que esa olor no nos dejaba dormir, a parte el colchon era muy duro y los cojines tan blandos que era como si durmieras sin. Otro problema de esta habitacion son las ventanas del comedor. Hay dos que dan al techo, en una se veia la ventana de otra habitacion y la otra daba a la azotea. Qualquiera que se asomara nos veia. A los anfitriones les doy un 10. Muy atentos a la hora de explicarte como llegar ( incluyendo fotos y videos) y te recomiendan varios sitios para ir a comer y comprar cercanos al apartamento. Una lastima la habitacion, ya que es un sitio al que no volveremos ni recomendamos.

The room smelled musty. After 2 days of airing it didnt get any better, the other guests also complained about the smell. Since I suffer from allergies, I left on the third day and was immediately sick. The ceiling in the closet smelled particularly like mold. Not all of the windows could be opened. Of the two cups in the room, one was broken and the other was dirty. Spiders shared the room with me and they have obviously lived there for a long time. The entrance is at an intersection on the slope. After my complaint, I only received a refund of 26 euros, even though I made my departure and my complaints known. Please also read the Google reviews. Dont book this hotel!

Von den zwei Tassen im Zimmer war eine gebrochen und die andere verschmutzt. Spinnen teilten sich das Zimmer mit mir und sie wohnen da offenbar schon sehr lange. Der Eingang ist an einer Kreuzung am Hang. Nach meiner Beschwerde bekam ich nur 26 Euro erstattet, obwohl ich meine Abreise und meine Beschwerden kundgetan habe. First the good. The owner offered us a nicer room than we booked, which had a balcony and a view of the Atlantic from the room and the apartment was also larger. Now the sad part. The beds were so hard that we had to deal with massive back pain. It didnt work without Voltaren painkillers. The bedding itself was old and disgusting. They werent changed once in 3 weeks apart from towels which were changed. We also had to buy toilet paper ourselves. The refrigerator is also old. The fruit and butter also froze at the highest setting. The table on the balcony was never cleaned under the glass top and the previous persons underwear was still hanging in the wardrobe.

Jetzt das traurige. Die Betten waren so hart das wir mit massiven Ruckenschmerzen zu tun hatten. Ohne Voltaren Schmerzentabletten ging gar. Die Bettwasche selbst war alt und eklig. Nicht einmal wurde die in den 3 Wochen gewechselt ausser Handtucher die gewechselt wurden. Toilettenpapier mussten wir auch selbst nachkaufen. Der Kuhlschrank ebenfalls alt. Auf hochste Stufe gefror auch das Obst und die Butter. Der Tisch auf dem Balkon da wurde nie unter der Glasplatte sauber gemacht und im Kleiderschrank hing noch die Unterwasche vom Vorganger.

Uphill? offff I think its easier on four legs than standing, Yes, indeed, it would be good to add some dehumidifiers .. a little too much humidity .. I say it is quite equipped, towels, toilet paper, toothbrushes and toothpaste, crockery, refrigerator... the owner is helpful. kind .smiling...he tries to make our stay pleasant. Aaa, some sockets still need to be changed.. And I forgot, there is no washing machine, but we went down about 800 meters, it is a public laundry.. while you wash your clothes you can drink a coffee good on the terrace opposite the laundromat. otherwise I have nothing to say.. I came without a car. 8-900 meters away is the public transport station to Puerto de la Cruz.. 3 euros per person ticket. it takes around 1 hour... but its worth it Everything you see on the way... then down, its gorgeous... anyway we didnt come to stay in the room. 2 super beautiful weeks, I hope you May the information be useful. My partner and I booked apartment number 7 for nine nights. We were completely satisfied. Everything went smoothly from arrival to departure. There is a familiar atmosphere with the operators and they are always concerned about the well-being of their guests. Every two days we ensure that new garbage bags are available. There are also fresh towels every four days. On request, fresh bed linen can be ordered for longer stays. Overall the hosts are very helpful. Regarding the location, we are in the north, which is the quieter part of the island, but everything can be arranged in the town of Icod. But everything can be easily reached by car. The apartments have a parking space, so the car can be parked easily. Our apartment had its own balcony, but there is a spacious and beautiful roof terrace which can be used by all guests. The furnishings in the apartment itself are sufficient. If you dont go out to eat, you can definitely cook for two people without any problem. The shower is definitely big enough. Otherwise there is a living room with a TV, couch and a kitchenette, a bedroom and the bathroom. Conclusion: We are completely satisfied, also in terms of price-performance. Mit den Betreibern herrscht ein familiarer Umgang und sie sind stets um das Wohl ihrer Gaste bemuht. Alle zwei Tage wird dafur gesorgt, dass neue Mulltuten vorhanden sind. Des Weiteren gibt es alle vier Tage frische Handtucher. Auf Anfrage kann bei langeren Aufenthalt frische Bettwasche geordert werden. Im ganzen sind die Gastgeber sehr hilfsbereit. Zu der Location, wir befinden uns im Norden, welcher eher der ruhigere Teil der Insel ist, jedoch kann alles in der Stadt Icod besorgt werden. Aber mit dem Auto kann alles problemlos erreicht werden. Die Apartments besitzen einen Stellplatz, also kann das Auto problemlos abgestellt werden. Unser Apartment hatte einen eigenen Balkon, aber es gibt eine grosszugige und schone Dachterrasse welche von allen Gasten benutzt werden kann. Die Einrichtung im Apartment selbst ist ausreichend. Wer nicht zum Essen geht, kann definitiv fur zwei Personen ohne Problem kochen. Die Dusche ist definitiv gross genug. Ansonsten gibt es ein Wohnzimmer mit Fernseher, Couch und einer Kochnische, ein Schlafzimmer und eben das Bad. Fazit: Wir sind vollkommen zufrieden, auch was Preis-Leistung betrifft. Wir waren schon in Hotels auf Teneriffa die schlechter und teurer waren. VG Sandra

Very nice place for a short stay in the monastery. The host was friendly. Apartment is fully furnished. Good WiFi. The roof terrace offers beautiful views in all directions. The price/quality ratio is reasonable. However, there are also a few serious comments about this stay. For older guests, the steep walk from the parking lot to the monestario can be very difficult, especially if you still have to lug around suitcases. It is still possible to walk down from the monastery to the old center. However, the slope is so steep that a bus or taxi is required to return. The recently reopened bar near the car park has noisy customers and produced excessively loud music during our stay in the (late) afternoon. Not nice when you sit on the terrace. The terrace of room 4 is spacious, but only has a sea view if you stand upright. A roof in front largely obstructs this specific view when sitting on the terrace. Bathroom smells musty. Tip: visit a supermarket first before checking in. The drive from the apartment there is relatively far and quite cumbersome. There is no food or drink available in the apartment. Walkability: Apartments is located at a steep height. Walking down to the center is still possible. A bus or taxi is highly recommended for the return walk.

De prijs/kwaliteit staat in redelijke verhouding. Er zijn echter ook een paar serieuze opmerkingen over dit verblijf. Voor oudere gasten kan het steile loopje van het parkeerterrein naar het monestario erg zwaar uitvallen, zeker al er nog met koffers gesjouwd moet worden. Naar beneden lopen van het monasterie naar oude centrum is nog wel te doen. De helling is echter dermate steil dat bus of taxi benodigd is om terug te komen. De recent heropende bar nabij het parkeerterrein heeft luidruchtige klanten en produceerde tijdens ons verblijf in de (late) middag overmatig harde muziek. Niet fijn als je op het terras zit. Het terras van de kamer 4 is ruim, maar heeft slechts uitzicht op zee als men rechtop staat. Een dak ervoor belemmerd grotendeels dit specifieke uitzicht als men op het terras zit. Badkamer ruikt muf. Tip: bezoek eerst een supermarkt alvorens in te checken. De rit vanuit het appartement daar naar toe is relatief ver en nogal omslachtig. In het appartement is nl. niets van eten of drinken aanwezig. Walkability: Appartementen bevindt zich op een steile hoogte. Naar beneden lopen naar het centrum gaat nog wel. Voor het teruglopen is een bus of taxi sterk aan te raden.

Apartments located not too far from the center of Icod, you can get there on foot but on the way back you have to deal with a pretty steep climb. The property offers ample parking available to guests, an added value in this area. The place where we stayed was very large and comfortable, with a large dining area and availability of stoves for cooking. The owner was very kind and, in addition to the set of towels, he provided a toothbrush and toothpaste and everything needed to be able to use the kitchen straight away. The structure is particular and surrounded by greenery which makes it very humid even inside the house. Negative notes: the presence of small worms in the house, a slightly annoying smell and finally the room was overlooking the street. This last detail was present in the booking but I honestly didnt think it was so much on the road. Overall a good alternative to visit the island away from the chaos of tourists.

Appartamenti situati non troppi distanti dal centro di Icod, ci si puo arrivare a piedi ma sul ritorno bisogna fare i conti con la salita bella ripida. La struttura offre un ampio parcheggio a disposizione degli ospiti, un valore aggiunto in questa zona. L appuntamento dove siamo stati era molto grande e confortevole, ampia zona da pranzo e disponibilita dei fornelli per cucinare. Gentilissimo il proprietario che oltre al set di asciugamani ha messo a disposizione spazzolino e dentifricio e tutto l occorrente per poter utilizzare la cucina sin da subito. La struttura e particolare e immersa nel verde questo la rende molto umida anche all interno della casa. Note negative la presenza di piccolo vermetti in casa, odore un po fastidioso e infine la stanza era affacciata sulla strada. Quest ultimo dettaglio era presente nella prenotazione ma non pensavo onestamente fosse cosi tanto sulla strada. Nel complesso una buona alternativa per poter visitare l isola lontano dal caos dei turisti.
